My comment still stands that you have come up with reasons and excuses for Redknapps failings last time round, yet you berate Adkins and Cortese for the same thing. I specifically mean the transfers. You've slated the current team for poor signings yet Harry was unlucky. To me that doesn't add up. Why won't you give them a break?
True but this is a different level , also I have said this is the month to judge him not now but at the end of the month , he has 5 games , 14 games is a good indication of where you are going and how the players are playing to your ideas , formations and tactics .
Do you know that I agree with this post 100% too. Now seeing as you've posted this above, why have you been slagging him and the team off for three months. Surely you could have said something like "no point judging till after 14 games, I'm a bit worried but let's look then". Sort of tells me you just like annoying people.

No, I don't think that the end of November is at all a fair point to decide Nigel's aptitude in the Premiership. What is so special about that juncture? We all know that the club spent a record amount on transfers but that we wanted to spend even more to improve our defence, but that those deals fell through. Raking over that failure to sign said defenders at this stage would simply look like a Wumming exercise, so I won't insult anyone's intelligence by doing that. Safe to say, NC has spent more money on transfers than we could have dreamed. whilst in the Premiership last time our record signing was, those with better memories will correct me, about £3.8 million. Harry was given about £800k or something pathetic to keep us up by Lowe. I have no doubt that we will strengthen that area in the window. There is a particularly short sighted view of life which can be summarised as, "you are only as good as your last game/week/sale/whatever. This is complete rubbish. I much prefer the adage that, "form is temporary, class is permenent." if you doubt that, google SAF's initial record at Man U. No doubt there were many times where he could have been fired, but the board stuck with him. That didn't work out so shabbily, did it?
Ferguson came with absolute pedigree though to be fair , he was not an unknown as the media like to state , he had managed his Country on a caretaker basis in the 86 World Cup , also he won domestic and a European trophy with Aberdeen , they knew he had it in him , or Charlton did .
Ferguson may have come with a pedigree but his start with Man U was anything but impressive for the first three seasons! The rewards which have accrued from sticking with him are a matter of record. I would say that gaining 4 promotions in 5 seasons is also a pedigree.
Reality is that lot's of managers struggle to adapt to the PL. Look at AVB last season. Give Nigel time and he will continue the success story.
At the moment what ever Nigel tries it doesn't seem to work. Our opponents seem to know in advance what our tactics are, or going to be, at least in the first half. Now could that be because they are doing their homework a little better than Nigel is? Or is it because we are too obvious? Or is it because we do not have the kind of player than can turn a game on his own? Or of course it could be that some players are not playing at their best? More likely a combination of all those questions. We are certainly missing the flare of Ramirez and we need a pacy right winger....Puncheon just does not cut it for me. He tries but just doesn't have it....JMO. Yes I agree we need a more with it LB, some of Fox's positional defending really is poor at times.
OK so it may be another defeat but as I said on another thread Nigel was in a no win! Play your best side and a couple of injures and.............. Play youth and ..................... What would you do?
The team didn't seem up for the challenge mentally or emotionally, though. I think that's a knock on Adkins. He should have his squad ready to play, especially when for some of these players its a chance to break into the first team.
