Sorry but for me Danny fox is our major problem positionally defensively and mentally. Only thing he offers is good delivery from cross and set pieces.

Staunchly against Fox hunting and hate to single out an individual (I dont Hooiveld , Fonte and Yoshida are all not good enough with questions on Gazzaniga and Clyne still) but yes Fox is absolute gash .

He is the weak link, yes. Hopefully Reeves or Shaw will step up. Look how I put a positive spin on that.

I really hope Shaw lives up to this hype , its got to a point now where its desperation over optimism .

Play Reeves then. Although Fox is a pretty good set-piece taker.

He had a good game against Spurs. The weakest link was Puncheon by a country mile. Went Fox is caught out of position he gets slated, when Clyne does it no one seems to give a flying ****. Ridiculous double standards whilst viewing the two players by our fans. We like to get the full backs forward regularly. If you're using this tactic what do you expect to happen on the counter?

The first goal yesterday was a disaster , I feel sometimes we think we are like Milan or Italy of the 80's letting the oppositions midfield pick at us , the problem is we are so obviously not Italy or Milan of the 80's , Clyne lost Bale and got ghosted yesterday , you could see his reaction , simliar to Foxes against Villa when he ballsed up for Bent to score .

It was a complete mismatch though in terms of strength and height. Don't think there was much Clyne could have done. The run was perfect, he attacked the ball very aggressively and the header was executed perfectly. It was a brilliant headed goal from Bale.

Look at Clynes position , he was waiting for the ball , he did not go to it , he did not attack it and he did not know where Bale was . His reaction said it all , he ballsed up he should of tracked the run or made the ball his .

The weakest link is actually playing Lallana on the wing, he causes the Lb to have no cover at all. Hence when he moved into the middle we played better.

If we are all positive and link hands does it mean we will start winning if so i will join in.But you cant expect every fan not to want to acknowledge and discuss any obvious failings. When any one says anything remotely critical a lot of people on here stick their fingers in their ears and go tra la la la.I agree that we need to remain positive and hope for a change in fortune but people should not be afraid to give honest opinions to where they think problems exist.

He tends to drift in , dont know whether he is trying to bolster the midfield or its bad discipline .

Agree that Reeves looked fine yesterday when he came on, think he would struggle if he had someone more heavyweight up against him though.
