Routine 3-0 defeat. Heavy defeat if we play as bad as we did against WBA.

Well, we've been playing poorly lately. They've been playing really poorly.

If we could play as well as we did against Sunderland, but keep 11 players on the pitch, I would be quietly optimistic. So far we've managed about 180 minutes of decent football over the first 9 leavgue games, though, and I don't thin another 20 minute ration will do at Anfield

You obivously have watched your play more closely than I have. From MOTD things haven't looked that clever for you but that might not be a fair representation.

We certainly haven't been setting the world alight.

Same problem as last year, we can't get the ball in the onion bag and Suarez is our leading goal scorer with 6 goals, if he keeps it up brilliant but you never know with Suarez, he misses such easy chances but scores some amazing ones. If he can do both then we may not need a striker in January, although having another one wont hurt <ok>

Some points from me that might be vaguely of interest

    - Nervous about HBA. We struggled with him last season. Glen will be back for this game, hopefully at left back. If this happens and HBA is on the right, I think we'll be fine. Otherwise, I wouldn't trust Wisdom against him quite yet - he's a good young player but Miralles gave him a lot of problems.
    - Hope Enrique, if he plays, steps up and plays like we all know he can - but again I'm unsure if he would.
    - We have a bad habit of giving away chances - Ba could punish us for it instantly.
    - Colo back is huge for you lot.

    In regard to Liverpool...
    - Glen back is surprisingly big news for us - he's very important to our forward play.
    - Stevie looks a bit more comfortable now in the 4-3-3
    - We looked good with a three at the back system - could switch to it again.
    - Suarez is missing chances but is also scoring goals.
    - Sterling needs to round off his final product consistently but can be very dangerous, and at any rate is a good outlet due to his pace.
    - I'd fancy Gerrard, Allen and Sahin to dominate midfield (especially if either Gerrard or Sahin play well).
    - If any of you doubted Allen's fee before this game... you will be proven wrong! Trust me. Also, we've a winger called Assaidi that hasn't played much but looks pretty handy.

Really can't call this game at all.

Never confident about a visit to Anfield, our record there is shockingly poor!

    Why?

On the game, we've never won an away game I've been to, including the championship game at Forest :( so maybe not looking the best.

I guess my comment was somewhat tongue in cheek, the game did descend into a farce, and things do tend to come back and bite you.

I did go to Anfield last year, had to face a miserable journey home, and again after the Fulham game where we got thumped, luckily I did manage a few that we didn't lose, I was beginning to feel like the 'Away game Jinx' :emoticon-0112-wonde
