There are youth tickets for sale on Viagogo for the Man Utd match going for £200. Ellerslie Road stand Block R so someone with a spare ticket is selling it on. Viagogo says the ticket must be bought by a QPR fan but can anyone tell me how this is ever likely or possible to verify?

Also there are two "youth" tickets for sale against Reading at home but these are in the Lower Loft. You remember? Lower Loft, Family Stand. QPR only. Can't renew your season ticket there despite 15 years in the same seat unless you register a child? Ring any bells?

A quick scroll through the games and kids and youth tickets are available in many games in the Lower and Upper Loft which pretty much clarifies my opinion that FREE kids tickets have been issued only to be sold on for profit by the adults that have registered them. It may be that they are going to genuine QPR fans but even if they are can it be acceptable that someone can profit from a free kids ticket?

Meanwhile I am sat in a tiny seat with my chin on my knees in an Ellerslie Road stand that will go up by a couple of hundred quid next season when the frozen Silver seat price goes and I have to fork out for a Gold ticket instead.

Like Johnny Rotten said "Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?"

The club should be able to easily check the free kids tickets. I use that for my lad and you have to provide specific proof of age and register your child (passport / birth certificate). Done properly the policy is to be commended. Not sure I could afford to bring him without it. It's a battle to steer him from Chelsea and Utd like everyone else in the class supports but his regular attendance is making that happen. He like many others is the future. Hope the club have the will to look at it where it is being abused.

I would have hoped someone from the club would know about this. Didn't exactly take Sherlock Holmes to find the info, a few clicks and there it is. I would be perfectly happy to be informed by the club that this was all above board and that it allowed youth tickets to be sold but I get the feeling that they don't really give a toss.

Thinking this through more and possibly the point your making. The tickets are not on sale yet as its in February so it must be season ticket holders off loading. It would be interesting to see if there is a pattern of the same ones being sold on.

To the best of my knowledge a free "under 8" kids ticket cannot be sold on viagogo but a "youth" ticket which is paid for can be sold.
I totally agree that this makes a mockery of the family stand however as anyone could buy the youth ticket and waltz in

Isnt a youth ticket only couple of hundred anyway? So they are going to be making several hundred profit while the seat is most likely going to be empty for the wigan, reading, saints etc games depriving a true fan of being there.

Same thing goes for a free u8 ST, people get one and then upgrade it to an adult for the big games when they bring along a mate, its empty the rest of the time.

They should get rid of this Viagogo service as there are too many people abusing it. I have lost count the amount of threads I have seen on this topic.

Flyer, do you actually know this or is it another guess? If so have you contacted the club with the proof? I don't mean that in a confrontational way but as a genuine user of the U8 thing I think it's great and it would piss me off if others were abusing it.

As somebody who has spoken to the Box Office about Viagogo, I know for a fact that every single ticket that is being put up for sale on there is being monitored.

A lot of genuine people who can't attend matches are putting their tickets up for sale. Some are even making a profit, largely from tourists as far as I know. Personally, I don't see a problem with that.

If anybody has tickets to sell and just wants face value, the club will offer to sell your tickets at face value.

Anybody abusing the system will get found out and I am sure there will be consequences for them.
