I don't think we'd see the mass exodus you are predicting GMI. Most of our players have been with us through our rise and would probably show a degree of loyalty. Besides that, I don't think Cortese would be too quick to let them leave. One season doesn't really constitute "proven" and it's unlikely we'll get too many big offers. Anyway, keep the faith man.
Two things required to have a chance of staying up, the first of which has been discussed already countless times elsewhere. The second things is that Saints need to inject more pace into their general play, particularly in their ability in moving the ball. I only saw the highlights on MOD but were they beginning to move the ball quicker once Mayuka appeared in the second half? Thoughts please!!
The only positive of us getting relagated is that you will **** off as we're no longer in the PL. Seriously do you ever watch us play? We are playing good football and fully confident we will pick up a fair few points and be well clear of the bottom three by the end of november.If we do get relagated not even half that amount will leave that you suggested. And even if that group do leave, we will get megabucks plus parachute payments for 5 years, and more than likely in a better position to come up. Anyhow, we just lost to TOTTENHAM a top 5 team. We have now played all of the previous years top 4. And have our easiest run of games we have had so far. But heres my main point. SUPPORT THE TEAM. We know we're losing, we know we're in the bottom three. You never ever ever suggest anything of how to improve, you add almost nothing to any reasonable debate, you just moan relentlessly about the same thing. We all get it you are a glass half empty kind of person, but please stop being so ****ing suicidal on here, this is the best league in the world only 3 years ago we were bottom of the 3rd tier. We are always improving and full deserved something against Spurs. If we continue to play like this we will win games.

I have always been on here giving my views , I used to spend my time on the other boards as I find going on your own boards and everybody agreeing (this is a distinct Southampton trait which I do not know whether its good or bad) rather boring , I now spend my time on here as most people disagree with me (or most want to appear loyal to our Nige and Cortese) , its good to see their views and how they percieve themselves as bastions of judgement and loyalty as only a few have spoken out early against this regime .
