Sorry I'm a bit late with the match thread guys!

Anyway, Important stuff: Carroll on the bench, I expect him to come on at some point probably for Maxi. Johnson starts instead of Robinson, but Robinson is on the bench. A little disappointing, but I hope to see Robinson get more games at some point.

    Nice one Ze Bird.

The team looks solid enough in my opinion with the bench offering a good alternative if needed. I'm going for a 3-1 victory :)

I have just donned my shirt ready for the game! It's a lucky shirt you see. Had it basically since Kenny has been at the helm.

To be honest I think my shirt is as much behind our recent surge as the King!

    3-1

A 3-1 victory seems about right, just worried about Flanagan in this match - he's still young and so far he's not really had to come up against some really physical opposition only those with pace, so I just hope he doesn't get caught out. Our bench is good in terms of attack, but I can't see any real proper defensive substitutes. With Johnson who can play RB and LB we have the fullbacks sorted, as if Flanagan goes off then Johnson will move to RB and Robinson will come on in LB.

I personally think one of Flanno's strengths is his physical side. He may look like a young lad but from watching him countless times in the academy he is definitely a strong physical defender. Almost to the point where he takes it too far with wreckless challenges. He is tough young lad and is certainly not afraid to get stuck in. My only slight concern is the experience he has (which so far has not been a problem), hopefully with the support of the other players and the crowd he can prove once again that he is a trusted solid right back.

Thats the reason why John Flanagan has progressed, its because he has the physical strength to cope with the demands of the premiership. He has it moreso than some of the others.Jack Robinson is close, but not there yet.But don't forget Jack Robinson is a year younger.

No not particularly <laugh> Maxi on a volley that was going straight at a Newcastle defender, got a deflection and went in!

It took a slight deflection off Skank reject Simpson, but its definitely Maxi's goal.

Maxi still needs to get his accuracy sorted, that volley was good but it shouldn't have had to take a deflection to get in!

No better person however to take a deflection off of than a Skank reject.
    C'mon Arsenal,Hand Chelsea the title.

It's gone a little bit boring now, we're dominating no arguments there but no more proper chances since the goal.
