There are lots of people on these and other boards who 'find things out' and Id be surprised if any of them stated how they do that.
I don't think it really matters where you get info from, I think it's childish hiding sources and can't understand why people don't just validate hat they're saying. Only intelligence officers I've believed are OLM, premier tiger and a lad called jozy jozy jozy off the been as they all consistently proved themselves right. You on the other hand have just reported two wild ludicrous claims, which I'm sure are highly illegal if your right, which no one can ever prove right or wrong. I can't see why you'd have made it up personally, you don't strike me as a billy bullshit, but I can't see your claims being right either.
It's not 'childish', its called protecting a source. When a journalist gets a scoop and doesnt reveal a source is it 'childish'? Was the Watergate scandal 'childish'? And no Im not comparing myself to Deep Throat. I dont recall any of these naming sources. And was I right about the company cars? How on earth is City stating a signing as 'undisclosed', which probably 90% of transfers are nowadays, and the media jumping to a wrong conclusion about the value of said transfer illegal? Look, frankly I dont care if you believe me or not, I try to share little titbits now and again but if you dont believe me that's up to you but dont ever expect me to reveal my sources for fairly obvious reasons. And if you think it's 'childish' then there's always the option that you could avoid responding to or indeed reading my posts.
I dont think I have ever claimed a scoop on a signing, that's not the kind of info I get. Edit - oh yes I did, I forgot Jankupovic! But I havent got a ruddy clue.
I actually agree with you, you don't see on TV the whole picture of the game, you get a much better feel watching live. However I watch the game on TV, and even on there it was a toss up between Quinn and Aluko, and I just went for Quinn.
Ill count the votes after the Arsenal game, so youve got 30-45 minutes to vote if you havent already.
Koren He's the best player in the championship and even sat on the bench some on here would make him motm.
That's fine, I was just responding with the reasoning behind the voting in this process. I don't mind criticism of it, but when everyone's seen the game on telly how do I know who has or hasn't gone to the game to count the votes?
This weeks result: Quinn Aluko Elmohammady Quinn got 99 points, and Aluko 82 this week. Before that the most we'd had for any game was Simpson's game against Bolton. I'll not do a weekly points table, but I'll post one halfway through the season as an update.
