Racing today comes from Newmarket, Salisbury, Hamilton Park, Gowran Park and Sligo.

Race of the day is of course the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. Unlike yesterdays male equivalent, the fillies race is wide open. When in doubt, back Godolphin. Each way Blue Bunting. There was blue bunting at the wedding I think.

I did actually do a write up on the two horses, but, being me, managed to delete it all.

I think Norse Blues is the likelier of the two, but Spavento, if you have a good look at the weights, previous form, etc (just ignore the fact it's never won!) is an interesting one. Only put small amount on, but I've e/w doubled them both.

I did that on Fugees yesterday. 30 minutes on the Guineas, then lost it. I do it often. I've even spent hours on a story, then left, not thinking to save it. lol.

 

Yeah, for me, it's a mixture of age, stupidity and drink. But there are worse things in life than being a drunken, moron with a body that's slowly crumbling. I know this to be true, because every morning I wake up with the wife.

 

I hope the poor woman can't read.

Besides, I think I may have mentioned earlier that I was useless on a computer. As for the punt, I no longer bet Ron, gave it up decades ago, except on Melbourne Cup day. But that's a small fib too, I play online poker almost every day.
