Apparently called someone a "Spanish twat" Torres, Mata, Azpilicueta? Torres would be my guess! I wonder if the game will be replayed if he is found guilty though? As surely Chelsea will have a case that he was biased against them if he spent the game abusing their players.
Torres indeed. Whilst he has a point - he's in no position to make such a judgement. I have to keep remebering its an allegation though. Interesting to hear what Clattenburg has to say.
What do people make of this not even making the news on BBC Sport? Weird. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/
Who knows. 3 clear witnesses and if all 3 say he did not use racist language then thats it really. All 3 will be interviewed no doubt and if their stories match and say he is or isnt guilty that should be good enough.
If thats what it turns out to be then Chelsea have just bought themselves several red cards in the future really. I find it unlikely a referee who has people listening to his every word would be so stupid but stranger things have happened...
That will be up to Ferguson. No, I mean Manc Riley. Actually I mean David Gill.... I was right first time...
That also worked for the police during Hillsborough. It's not enough. Independent action should be taken. "Hey, did you abuse Mikel?" "No." "How about you, did your boss abuse Mikel?" "No." "And you? Did your close colleague that you're likely to work with again abuse Mikel?" "No." "Well that's that then. I guess nothing happened here, 3 against 1, thats a balance tipping in favour of our referee. Any questions?" If that's enough for someone to get off without an investigation then **** me I'd hate to think how many criminals get away with murder. That being said, if an independent panel finds him not guilty or finds that both Mikel and Torres heard the wrong thing then they should be forced to publicly apologise to Mark. If he's found guilty, well then - A replay of the game at least should be considered.
Genuinely made me lol. I love the way were just turning the Suarez hatred and unfair behaviour towards him into a big joke with the songs, ironic freekick cheers and the whole #BlameSuarez thing. Best way to deal with it imo. Pours water on the fire.
It'll be investigated by a fully impartial and independent panel apponited by Man Utd so I'm sure justice will be done.
