Being reported by the Telegraph now, names of the two players stated. Any claim of racism has to be taken seriously now, this is of course "alleged", we can't afford to take the same kind of prejudice stance rival fans have taken with Terry on two occasions but if anything comes of this it could be interesting. I doubt Clattenburg will ref another Chelsea game regardless so works for me, but if proven to have foundation spells the end of his refereeing career and will probably uncover the massive Webb of corruption all non-United fans have suspected for years.

These are serious allegations and I can't imagine Chelsea would report a referee (in light of what has happened re: JT and negativity surrounding the club) if there wasn't some substance to this.

I think Phil Dowd did it in one of our games a couple of years back, and he got away with it.

As I've said earlier. Given the JT saga and things on that front finally waning I doubt very much Chelsea would want to attract any publicity re: racism saga's if there wasn't any substance to this. The reputation of the club as a whole is on the line here so any United fan thinking "it's just sour grapes" needs to assess this rationally

Have they said the abuse is racial? I thought he might have told a player to fuck off or something, but I didn't hear anything about it being racially orientated.

Twitter rumours are saying its racial while some are saying its swearing.

If its swearing its a none issue. No doubt the ref received his fair share of swearing today.

If its racial and hes guilty then... well sack him surely?

If you have nothing constructive to say don't say anything at all.

Had JT been present and racially abused a United player with us winning the game I somehow doubt you'd be saying "get over it"

Should not you be watching reruns of the 84/5 season on Betamax

????? I'm not an Everton fan and thats my point

however I have posted on the wrong thread lol

Racism has no place in society but has he actually done anything ? we dont know yet.

It wint be racist its likely the chelsea players have thrown a bealer over the decisions and wante to get back at someone. The amount of times players tell ref to **** off I'd be over the moon if he responded back provided it wasn't racial.

Wtf are you going on about? Can you not see the word 'allegedly' on here? It's a forum and we are debating an issue surrounding our club.

If all he did was swear then of course it's a ridiculous accusation but as DL said, I highly doubt we'd create a ****storm over the ref using bad language.
