First of all lets not beat about the bush here. Right now, at this minute we are playing boring, ****e football and have little to no chance of winning games as things stand. The one man up front tactic simply isn't working out very well and since the middle of February we have been treading water at best.

It cant go on thats for sure.

Now, that said, I haven't lost any faith in MoN's ability at all and seeing the likes of Johnson (admittedly not started well) and Fletcher (who has started well) still make me positive not despondent. I know Sess hasn't played well, Larsson isnt a central midfielder and Colback and Catts can't play in the same team. We need Bardsley back to release Gardener into midfield and we still need recruits to strengthen our team and squad. I think Martin was chasing another 1 or 2 players in the summer but for whatever reason, we missed out on them so he had turned to the likes of McFadden for a short term fix.

Instead of behaving like spoilt children and stamping our feet because we just got a bore draw at Stoke (not a bad result at all btw), we ought to give this quality manager the time and support he deserves and stop calling for his replacement (Harry 'I will rip you off' Redknapp has even been mentioned ffs) after less than 12 months in charge.

Quite frankly I'm disgusted and disappointed by some of the negative comments and calls for MoN's head. Its ****ing pathetic if you ask me and if you don't it's still ****ing pathetic.

Of course its correct to have a moan and all have our ten bobs worth and even to have a go at the current team but longer term, this man is so right for us, its unreal. He is the right man at the right time but he can't suddenly make us Man Utd in 12 months. No-one could. It took SAF four years to win his first trophy ffs and he had better players to start with.

If MoN had been here 3 years and this was still the football we were watching I'd be leading the calls for change but after 11 months? No way. A game in hand on everyone, into the last 16 of the League Cup and maybe quarter-finals for the draw on Wednesday (after an FA Cup Quarter final in his first few months) and only one defeat in 8 games. We need Sess to get his finger out or be dropped and the same for McClean and Johnson and above all we need Gardener back to midfield to offer a goals threat other than Fletcher. We are hard to beat and don't concede many goals and all we need to do is start to knock one or two in at the other end and suddenly we will be very different. Not saying it will be any prettier but it would be better. The entertainment can wait bit right now we are a solid mid table outfit that has not fired on all cylinders for 2 or 3 months. When we do, we will be top 10 comfortably imo.

The panicking is pathetic lads. Completely pathetic and I bet if we beat Boro on Tuesday, the very same lads will be talking of Wembley like giggly little schoolboys? Show some friggin bottle, have some real faith and stop bleating like a bunch of pussies.

    Okay<ok>

Well spoken Cest, great thoughts that I agree with, but we are still playing s***e!!!We need to be more positive, especially at home.Suarez for Liverpool has had more shots on goal this season than our entire team. Why buy a quality striker and a quality winger, and set out to defend??

Think you should check the posts Cest we aren't panicking yet and most of us still think MON is the man for the job. Admittedly there have been a few who seem to have lost faith but, that's their lookout mate.
Most aren't panicking but, all can see that it needs changing and changing now, all that is bar MON. As we have said on here win Tuesday and next weekend and its all smiles again get beat in those two very winnable games for me anyway and the knives will be out.

Suarez may well have had more shots than our team but then they are only 1 point ahead of us and we also have a game in hand and thats because they leak goals like a cheap chinese boat and we don't. Once we get our attacking players (and we have lots of them in AJ, Sess & McClean) performing as they can we will be fine.

Its just not the time to start panicking and calling for a new friggin manager. Quite frankly I'm ****ing embarrassed by some of the posts I've read this weekend.

As I have said on another post start building from the back and develop the team from there - the draws away no problem its the negativity at home that most people have a problem with and I can understand it

having said that I worry that our central defence are all "getting on" so what the hell is it with killgallon - he did well when he had to come in in the past

We could with an injection of adventure into our play. Two strong speedy wingers and steady CF could be used better.

You have issues fella, people come on hear for some light hearted banter about football and to discuss the going's on at their club. People like you, and comments like this just take all the fun out of it for everyone else.

    Have a word with yourself.
