One bright light during the disappointment of losing today was having Matt Le Tiss in the crowd sitting in the Northam. He was great with everybody before, during and after the game posing for pictures and signing shirts & programs etc. What a legend and what a Saints supporter !
*Kingsland* Felt sorry for the bloke if i'm honest. Half time was a complete and utter embarrassment. He went there to watch a game of football and just got mobbed by a bunch of mongs, they were even queuing up on the steps. He's just another person going along to watch a football match ffs.
Looked like the Northam from his picture!! And really? There was that many, impressive. I wonder if NC saw him...
He was a few seats in front of me. Felt sorry for the bloke, futher reaffirms my theory that nearly all saints fans are dicks.
They could have at least let him enjoy the game on his own. Depends how he feels I guess. He does events for this kind of stuff...
Iwan Thomas was interviewed on Channel Five after the run and mentioned he had been subjected to some abuse from skates during the run.
I see, does that mean that you are also a dick? Or are you an exception to the rule? Why do you feel sorry for hm, I don't reckon he is too bothered.
I sit in Kingsland block 37 and from there it looked like Le Tiss was sitting our side of the Northam. Anyway you will know where it was if he was just in front of you. Nearly all Saints fans are not dicks mate - i wouldnt mob him myself but i walked out next to him and people were not being a pest, just being seen with their hero stuff really and he was fine with it. He would have known that people would want to talk to him if he attended a game as one of the crowd.
He was sat just by the northam kingsland barrier and he was only really pestered before the game and half time.
If he'd have wanted to, I'm sure he could have got himself invited into someone's box. So I'm guessing he wouldn't have minded being "mobbed" too much. He knows he's loved by just about everyone in the ground.
