    Don't see the problem.

It's NEVER a bad thing to warn people not to eat the yellow snow.

According to my husband when he lived in Hull in the 50's where he lived the air was so heavily polluted smog was a yellow colour, and when snow fell it was sometimes tinged yellow on the ground!

There is, however, no truth in a local myth that when snow falls in the Blue Mountains it appears to be blue when viewed against the backdrop of the Mountains in certain locations.

Not liable to see any snow where we are. We leave India in a couple of days to travel along the road to Mandalay with forecast temperatures of around 33 degrees C.

It has only rained once in the last 5 months here. We had a cloud a few days back, terrible weather.

Good guess. You are correct. I live in Paradise California if you have ever driven through.

I dont mind the heat since there is no humidity with it.

As Northern California is bigger than England my question is quite valid.

Indeed, though as you asked what part of the world he was in, I would have thought that California was specific enough. <laugh>
