    Correct.
Its almost at the stage where we are considering staying in the pub and having a laugh as opposed to watching the garbage that has been served up this season.
Like yourself I still think MON is the man for the job but he must start looking at other options inc tactics & personnel.

I honestly can't see why he spent over 20 million on two attacking players and then set the team up not to get beat, what a waste. OK so we haven't been losing matches but that is partly down to the fact that we have been playing **** teams anyway, we had to wait for Wigan to go down to 10 men at home before we started to push forward. I don't want to go and watch that style of footy, it's ****ing boring.

We have a decent enough squad, defensivly we're solid, we've got a top notch striker, lets ****ing utilise him and stop isolating him. He must be sick as ****.
Stoke were utter **** yesterday as well and typically looked like they were playing with the wrong shaped ball, but at least they got the ball forward a lot quicker than we did and even looked like they wanted to win.

Stone wall penalty as well by the way.

I'm happy that he is playing Johnson and Fletcher but, why is he persisting with McClean and Sess when even a blind man on a galloping horse can see they are just not up to it and look uninterested. As you say mate why buy attacking players for big money then set up defensively?
Maybe MON was out of the game too long and the game has bypassed him a bit, meaning his tactics just don't work anymore or maybe the players we currently have are just not good enough to play his game?
Either way it has to change or we will be dragged into the dogfight at the bottom.

I have never felt this way since Brucie had his dire run, and i was one of the first bobs, along with BOE,its the fans who pay to see a performance, i remember Summerbee and Majic , and loved watching those days, even the game against Chelsea was good under Bruce till he went the same way as Mon is now, why ?, if he persists down this route he will be playing to 10,000, if he gives us some balls and flair there will be 45,000 its his choice but for how long,

We all know that he likes to play the counter attacking game and that's fine but for **** sake we need to counter, at the minute we're just defending.

I don't go in for this argument that he is still suffering with Bruces players, that's bollocks, he's had 2 transfer windows and shed loads of money to change that situation. He didn't and to be honest, the players he has are good enough for a top half finish, maybe even as high as top 8, but not if we continue with these tactics

If we can't compete with teams like Stoke, Wigan, Swansea, then we're ****ed.

With you 100% mate apparently MON said that he had to change it around a bit yesterday and that change was to put Catts back in for Sess. I'm sorry but if that's his idea of a change then we are truly in dire straits.
Still think we will be okay but, it's looking like yet another long hard season ahead for SAFC . . . . . . .A ****ING GAIN.

He could have gone with Larsson, Gardner, Catts, Johnson in the middle with Saha & Fletcher up front but he chose to string 5 across the middle and play defensivley AGAIN!!!

Think we are the only ones up this morning mate, or have they all gone somewhere else? we have a 23 is it man squad so why isn't he using it if the first choice aren't doing it?

I'm hoping for a change of formation for the Boro game on Tuesday, because the one we are playing at present is just not working..

Once again MW, my sentiments entirely.
Needs to stop the loyalty with some players. A few of the fringe players would bust a gut to be given a chance and hopefully if they took that chance, we would see effort, commitment and a scare to some of the established players.

We are mate we just want to see some action as it isn't working at present, that's why people are getting a tad nicked off.

Absolutely, not panicking but the solution is glaringly obvious & that's what's so frustrating.

He's got many options mate but he still sticks with Macca. Worrying thing for me is that he is saying he will learn so sounds like he will be persevering with him.
