Met office issue a 'yellow snow warning' for this region. http://www.thisishullandeastriding....st-Yorkshire/story-17189104-detail/story.html
According to my husband when he lived in Hull in the 50's where he lived the air was so heavily polluted smog was a yellow colour, and when snow fell it was sometimes tinged yellow on the ground! There is, however, no truth in a local myth that when snow falls in the Blue Mountains it appears to be blue when viewed against the backdrop of the Mountains in certain locations. Not liable to see any snow where we are. We leave India in a couple of days to travel along the road to Mandalay with forecast temperatures of around 33 degrees C.
Be careful round there mrs B On the road to Mandalay Where the flying fishes play And the Dawn comes up like thunder out of China 'cross the bay Saw Ken Dodd sing that at Brid Spa back in the day!!
I'm guessing California central valley Sierra foothills above Sacramento, I lived in that neck of the woods for years, bloody hot in the summer I'll tell you that
Good guess. You are correct. I live in Paradise California if you have ever driven through. I dont mind the heat since there is no humidity with it.
Indeed, though as you asked what part of the world he was in, I would have thought that California was specific enough.
