Because Martinez is a proven PL manager while Warnock has relegated every top level team hes managed.

Also it was clear we were going down under Warnock as hed totally lost the team. Wigans players play for Martinez even if they are losing. The players didnt play for Warnock just as they are not playing for Hughes.

Agreed, but actually the Wigan fans were baying for Martinez to get the boot at that point in the season and we were yet to go on our abysmal run

Its not up to them, have you ever had a boss you tells you what to do but is utterly incompetent? Thats how the players feel. i bet they are all incredibly frustrated like us.

I bet we will be a pleasure to watch once Hughes is gone. He is more negative than Paul Hart and thats saying something. Its like hes got another job lined up and wants the payoff for the sack.

I don't know about another job but I think you're right regarding relief if he goes.

Because TF likes "Friends" to be his managers.

    yes i have
still do my job the way i am paid to
i dont sulk and stop doing what i am paid to do
and highly paid they are too
and if we do get another manager he should be highly unimpressed with the work effort of the pampered players

Oh yes. Sheffield Utd. Sheffield United, Sheffield United, Sheffield United and..................oh yes, Sheffield United. Extremely long list of failure isn't it? Didn't they get a massive compensation payment from the hammers or did I dream that bit because of one decisive bit of selective bull **** by the FA - the same one they were ready top hang draw and quarter us for? You spoil what was a good point by the rubbish about Warnock. The real point is that Martinez has a canny owner who values his worth over a longer period than a couple of months. Fernandes failed that test once. Now you want him to prove he has the balls to fail it again.

Sack Hughes - Reasoning: players he bought; coaching team he brought in; his tactics.
Sack Fernandes - Reasoning: Manager he brought in; player purchases he approved; coaching team contracts he approved.
    Simples!!!!
Oh and along with all that... Lets not forget we should also:
Rescind Warren Farm agreement and plans; let's get rid of Mike Rigg and Phil Beard; let's trim coaching set up; let's get rid of scouting system.
Now there's a plan that most of 606ers seem to be happy with!!!
Then we won't have to worry about those molly-coddled overpaid players; no need to worry about the Tarbs and Faurlins of this world (they wont be here); they'll be long gone as we move back down to League 1 again and potter around grounds with supporters wishing we were back in the higher leagues where we "belong".
Now that's a real plan for the future!!
    Well done!!!!!!!
