Holloway rants about how Blackpool made a mistake by not selling Phillips to Saints

Almost certain no said it was because of his accent. He's a prat by his on doing, especially his moaning nature and pointless contradictive rants.

The modern game is terrible because it has taken the game away from the true fans and it's all money-oriented, but then his chairman is great because he's such a ruthless businessman and that's how it is nowadays but then his chairman is a jerk because he won't give Holloway a contract and that isn't right but then it's not the chairman's fault it's the fans who have no patience but then that's okay because Holloway can find a job elsewhere its his players he feels bad for but his players make too much money and that's the problem with the modern game.

I find him somewhat amusing in small doses, so I don't mind having him around as long as he's not managing Saints. I'm laughing at him though, not with.

 

At the end of the day football like life itself has its cross sections of all types and personalities the difference being when i have a bad day i just go home and moan to my wife,someone like Holloway has a microphone shoved under his nose within in a blink of just coming away from a charged up dressing room or technical area.He is the emotional type and usually kicks straight in with what he is thinking without reason first.He seems passionate and hard working and cares by the looks of it so he is ok by me, i dont expect Brighton fans were drawn to Nigel when he made his 'if they can keep up' remark does not make him a bad guy.

 

Holloway as the new Saints manager would be highly amusing, and other things!

I always end up feeling a little sorry for him as due to his, erm, emotional character and cowpat accent he rarely gets taken seriously. There used to be a collection of his greatest (= most surreal) quotes around on youtube.
I still think our wee GS had a little more entertainment value though.

As to Philips, maybe a little cheaper come Jan?

 

To be fair I don't think anyone was particularly bothered with Holloway until he started slating us off. It certainly isn't anything to do with his accent that is for sure!! He is a first class twat and as someone else has said blames every one but himself when things don't go his way.
