thought glassback had done himself a mischief.... give it a couple of weeks and he'll be back with us for treatment!
It will be good to see Ox get some playing time. He's been a long term development project but it must be time to make a decision on whether he has a future in the 1st team (squad).
possibly freeing up a chunk of salary for a loan? there are a couple of kids coming through in joe cracknell and ryan (summat) who wil deputise for jacko in the reserves. in fact between now and january i think there are only a couple of reserves fixtures anyway
I'm worried about Amos,i'm certain he's going to be very good, but i don't like keepers learng their trade in our goal. Think he's too young. Experience is a huge plus for a keeper.
He could of got punished for that kick that rebounded off the Bristol player today, luckily he wasn't.
True comments, and to see Mannone playing well for Arsenal has mixed feelings.. I'd like to see what Edin whatsit is like but it's dangerous to chop and change keepers, the defence don't like it.
Presumably Jakupovic has been injured to date thus the reason why Oxley has been on the bench and has now gone on loan to Burton Albion now that he's fit. Amos bit dodgy again tonight - cleary heard him shout shout 'keeper' only to get beaten to ball and luckily it came off the bar into his hands. That said just seen Boltons keeper make similar mistake to Amos's agst Boro in spilling the ball for a goal against Boro (again) today.
This is the nail on the head for me. He could have cost us more points again by being in no mans land with the header that came off the bar.
