3 sides of the ground that we do have is excellent! the facilities are ok .I can see why GT feels like crying when he looks to the 4th side!

 

Yes their fans did spoil it at the end for us... but their clinical finishing which Tommy was involved in for both goals did it.

A1 the table never lies at the end of the season , how many teenagers did we have on the park at the end of the game!!!
I thought qpr did enough today to deserve a 1-0 win ! although watching Tommy not celebrate his goal was lovely and respectful!

 

It was my first time back at the vic for about 25 years!!! and the changes were quite immense ! yes the ground has come in for a lot of flak , but even some rangers fans I met in the pub said it was the best away facilities they had had all season!!! So we are doing something right!

 

Agreed Norway, the table doesn't lie - maybe that's to Warnock's credit that the QPR team don't appear like world-beaters when you run through the names. Very strange seeing the three ex-Horns. Tommy not celebrating was great and ****tu very respectful to the home fans also.

I didnt manage to meet up with Hornette and Yorkie today which was a shame (sorry guys) but I did briefly talk to Steve Palmer and Neil Price!
Steve was quite anxious as his Mrs was in shrodells about to drop baby palmer and also got steve sherwoods signature!

 

I hope meeting heros did not disappoint. I know some people can be living to expectation.

 

Highlights about to come on the Football League Show...guess we'll be first on for once...

 

No Ak they didnt ,although Shirley dropped the bit of paper he signed for me!!!!

 

Ok for all that watched the FL show on telly , it was nt all qpr !!

 

More importantly, I WAS ON TV!!

 

Disappointed with the football league show. I know QPR are the top team etc and suppose it doesn't help QPR are the BBC's pet team but from the stats we gave as good as we got.
Were we that ineffective to be blanked in the first half apart from DGs header and almost the same in hte second half. Strange TS's lack of celebration though; winning goal, 100th goal (so I read), in front of QPR fans, etc. He isn't a Hornet anymore.

On the subject of meeting heroes.... I had a brief word with cally at his charity game at forest a few months back.... My memories of him as the lean laid back winger...... have transmigrated into the rotundish dj..... I dont think he quite got my "simply the best" statement when I asked for his autograph... he was linking to some songs he had spun!

Not that i could see Zen...he just seemed stoney faced...probably not for any obvious reason..but even though we'd lost, everyone was ready to cheer the boys on their way round the pitch and most of us seemed pretty happy..you'd think that would have had him smiling!

i was on the tv once at the Vic. It was at the Chelsea FA cup game which finished 2-2..don't ask me the year, i'm rubbish at details lol, but it was a few years ago! ...i made it onto Sky, Sky sports news and MOTD..full face close up job...i was gutted coz i hadn't replenished my lipstick! lol

 

that was amusing had to growl at a couple of qpr kids trying to get into the hotel!
assisting the nice travel lodge staff night shift !
I confess (due to their foul language) I wanted to smack them ,but the Hotel staff member said no!!
even though they were racially abusing him!!! just lost a lot of respect for QPR fans that had been built up during the rest of the day!!!
I now change my viewpoint and hope the FA **** them over!
