In Hughes' defence, QPR had 2 brilliant opportunities to equalise, and if it weren't for bad finishing on the first chance which went wide, we would've been singing a much different one.
I think - well out of shot - the player who was defending Arshavin slides off the field and stays off the pitch long enough to play Arteta onside, when he heads the ball at goal. When he puts the ball into the net he is still technically onside, because no one else has touched the ball.

He has been **** but I thought he got the team right today other than the always atrocious Wright-Phillips who did his best to put the ball into the crowd every time we got beyond your midfield. For 80 minutes we were pretty comfortable and matched you imho then a moment of absolute stupidity from Mbia and we throw it away. Even then the goal was offside. Frankly it looked like two quite mediocre sides to me.
