    As the title says...

O'Neill is outdated, he is showing to be tactically naive and seems to be stubborn to change. I don't believe he is the right man to take us forward and the first 6-8 weeks aside, he has continued the same performances and results we were having under Bruce when his downfall came.

I have said for a while now that O'Neill was out of football a long time and it has moved on a lot, with different kind of possession and pressurised way of playing the game now, he has been left behind. I still believe in the players though and genuinely think with the right man in charge, what we have now should be comfortable 7th - 10th.

I would take Martinez from Wigan, he is a current manager who has taken to playing with the ball down on the ground and with the players we have at his disposal, could really make a name for himself. At the moment though there's one man for me.

    Harry Redknapp

    ..............................................

I await "your to soon" responses but I firmly believe if you can see something is not working, don't drag it out and just change it.

NOW! but i don't mean a managerial change, we do need to change our way of playing as we simply aren't good enough to play on the break. We need a stronger midfield and soon.
When will he realise that 4-5-1 just isn't going to win us games?

I cannot believe I am reading this after all the Bruce out stuff and people desperate for MON to be manager.

This is MON's style he has played like this everywhere he has been. I expected exactly what we are getting which is why I wanted Moyes.

BUT we are where we are and MON is the manager, its time as fans we got behind him and gave him the chance to prove us wrong.

just to prove you right ! Its too soon.

It only costs me $80 a year to watch every game, on tv. If i was paying $ ,000's to travel home & away maybe i would feel different.

Its just not entertaining, and thats why i watch football. To be entertained. May sound daft but would rather lose in a 4-3 thriller. Then not have a shot in 98 minutes. BORING

We have 1 win in 16 games mate, our performances are the worst in the league and have been 2nd best in every single game this season and fortunate that we have drew some of them games from defeat.

How much longer would you give it?

Agreed mate but, still doesn't mask the fact we are just not creating anything at all zero shots on target against Barca or Real Madrid you could accept but against Stoke (no offence meant) speaks for itself.

I really like MoN but if I was Short and just say Redknapp phoned me up tonight and said "Ellis I would love the managers job at SAFC and would be willing to take over ASAP" then put it this way MoN would be out of work in the morning.

As I have said MoN is a top manager but it is not working here and sometimes that happens and for me his huge weakness is he is poor in the transfer market IMO, he is not adventurous at all

As for Harry he plays the perfect way to get the best out of players like McClean, Sessegnon, AJ and Fletcher, if he came in along with all his coaching staff (Kevin Bond, Joe Jordan and Clive Allen) he would transform us.

I also think a big strength of Harrys is he is creative and adventurous in the transfer market, Kranjcaar, Pienaar, yes they never worked out but there technically good players who like the ball at there feet, he has made some quality signings from abroad, Sandro is probs the pick of the bunch, the lad is class and he does good deals for players in England as well, the likes of Parker, Defoe, Adebayor wer top signings for him

We have a good squad that needs 2 top class central midfielders and thats pretty much it, we do not need a squad overhaul.

For me if Harry took over tmro we would finish top 7, I hope MoN can turn it around but at the minute he is looking out dated, his tactis seem poor, we have had 12shots on target all season and we have the best 4 attacking players in Fletcher, Sess, AJ and McClean that we have had in a very long time

If it wasn't for Mig, we would be in the bottom 2-3

redknapp will go to southampton after they sack adkins, which could be as soon as this week. he would never come this far north.

i really can't believe we've turned on MON so quickly. the time to judge him is surely xmas at the earliest. i wish we'd played saha from the start and gardner in midfield, but honestly, no-one could have foreseen, or legislated for all of maclean, sessegnon and johnson being completely rubbish all season - those three on form would be a top half of the prem midfield, and the best we've had since the reid days. something's not right with all of them, but sacking MON because those three can't ghet their act together at the moment is madness. they WILL come good.

It's all about opinions, and everyone is entitled to have their say. I personally think MON will come good, but he does baffle me. When did the boy wonder, Jimmy Mac, do anything in the last few weeks. He gave the ball away everytime he got it today, but MON sticks with him. Come on Martin show everyone what you CAN do!

I'm embarrassed people are calling for his head already, we have lost ONE game this season and are still in the cup.

You will never achieve stability if we change managers as soon as they hit a difficult string of results, look at Liverpool.

Poolie, you say Mon is poor in the transfer window? He got us Fletcher and Johnson FFS.

Easy solution to players not producing mate you drop them and put others in but, MON doesn't seem to want to do that opting instead for the steady regular first team bit. We should try and pick Tuesday nights team and I'll go for the same one that started today with maybe Sess in from the start.
