This game has too many flaws I mean if you have one of the purple players you have a massive advantage. I'm left with ****ing green players everytime.

 

In the interests of making the competition meaningful again I'm prepared to relinquish my contract with our star man Xisco and all associated points accumulated to date IF I can swap him for Ben Arfa or failing that Cabaye. Otherwise I maintain my insurmountable lead.

 

I can honestly see your lead increasing with our star player , since Pardew has virtually assured that he'll get his chance when he previously claimed him "not ready yet". Probably a cup game or Europa League game we'll be able to see him I think.

You should have to pick a different player each game, otherwise the greedy gets with Ben Arfa, Ba and Cabaye will clearly win.

I don't think the user who is winning has had any of those players as yet... It's strategy. Sticking with the player during Euro games when he might not play means you'll lose out on points, but have them for the premier league games. When a player gets injured, you can stick with them to ensure you keep them, or transfer around. When users who have remained loyal to one player are level nearing the climax of the season, they will need to stick or twist if they want to beat the other.

Oh, and from now on the board of the Official Game (currently 1 member) has declared it is implementing a "respect my authority campaign", which we maintain has nothing whatsoever to do with the recent threat of a break away game-board for those who currently feel they receive no respect. Pure coincidence. Anyway, the outline is: Complaints about the game will be thoroughly ignored and dismissed as bad sportsmanship, until such time as a poster seems to blatantly blame the organizers, in which case off with their heads!!!


Or maybe just a ten point deduction...


Anyway, Privates, I've given you Simpson for this gameweek. He's a purple patch player if ever there was one (I heard a drunken mate describe him as the English Messi, so why would anyone want Ben Arfa?), and certainty to start if fit. Let me know if you want to change this for any of the other players whose allocations aren't full... Krul, Perchinho etc all likely to start tomoz and all are free. I'm heading into the Toon around 12ish, but transfers are authorized to take place as long as the user has stated which free player they wish to take before the 3.00pm kick-off, as I can just sort out the ramifications when I get back.

Still sticking with Santon, you may be right about Ba, he's having a scan, can't remember if it's today or tomorrow, but it's not definite that he'll play.

 

Wonder how many points Tash would have given Santon had that wonder-strike flew in the bottom corner...

Hope Ba's fit against Liverpool whether I have him on here or not, he's the only one who can really produce anything when we're playing woefully... Well, him and a combination of Sammy/Cisse!
