Hey Sports Fans! Saturday see's Canaries head to the mid-west to face-off against their new-found-rivals, Birmingham Villains. Last time out Canaries were involved a roller-coaster-thrill-ride-matchup versus Gunnerz; that ballgame saw Canaries pick up their first three points with a decisive G. Holt touchdown in the first-quarter. The result came as little surprise to Franchise Fans who had seen Canaries perform impressively but fail to convert their opportunities.

Coach Hughton: “The most satisfying thing is the three points. It's been a long time coming, there have been performances that warranted it but this division is unforgiving and unless you're able to score more goals than the opposition then it doesn't come."

The most impressive performance from the matchup versus Gunners was arguably that of freshman midfield-linesman A. Tettey, who set up the G. Holt conversion after a 20-yard-slammer which was spilled by Score-Attempt-Preventer V. Mannone. Signs from The Deliadome seem to be pointing towards a Canaries revival, and if they can continue to put in performances as per last week, then they will continue to pick up points.

Birmingham Villains currently sit P17 in the EPL divisional standings following an inspiring start to their 2012/2013 series. The inter-season capture of former Canaries' Coach Lambert has failed to produce the goods so far as Villians only sit one position (and one point) above the rejection zone. If any matchup is going to galvanize Coach Lambert's players then surely this ballgame will be it.

Coach Lambert: "Some of the football we played was great and we gave as good as we got. We came here, where their form has been really good, and gave a good account of ourselves. I thought we played well at Newcastle and Tottenham. There are a lot of good things. We have to turn the good things into wins"

The pressure will undoubtedly be on both Coach's going in to this matchup; Canaries fans know from experience that Coach Lambert has the mentality to go on the attack in a high-stakes-ballgame, however Coach Hughton will also know exactly what is at stake as Lambert's successor. Expect a gung-ho matchup, and follow all of the action LIVE on the CanariesSoccer Match Center!

This sure is going to be a great Soccer matchup, so fill up your Coca-Cola™ tankards, get your hot-dogs and grab a seat for this smash-and-grab matchup, brought to you exclusively on Not606!

This was a fixture I looked for the moment they were released - surprisingly the pressure seems more on the Villa players. The win last week has brought me lots of relief in the office - and I'm hoping the Norwich players feel likewise!

I've always felt the Norwich players will be more up for this than Villa's, but possibly Lambert has harnessed some of his dark arts to get his players feeling like they need to go out and make a statement of intent - and this is the game to do it.

I would take a draw, primarily as it's away from home and the Norwich lads might be basking a little to much in the glory of last weekend.

    Can't wait...

Passing is a bit loose, and Benteke has too much space.

That was a bit ambitious by Holt trying to play a pass off the flag, nearly came off

Holt hit the corner flag, that'll win this seasons end of year "closest to the flag" competition.

Hoolihan has done a lot of good work again today, okay could have done better with his chance earlier on but not to worry. City are certainly not out of this, Villa are not that good at all so there is always a chance but I would like to see more crosses whipped in by Pilks and Bennett in the 2nd half.

Agreed, the way this game is turning out we don't need Tettey and Johnson anyway.
