bbc606... it got very silly at times that, but I guess here´s no better. I remember some female poster (from Plymouth) always having a right go.. name escapes me now. But yeah those were the days. I´ve tried JA606, it has a few old bbc606ers on there but I like it here better. Can´t get into FOXESTALK either.

I posted on there even more than I do on here. Hard to believe I know, but there were so many active boards, that it was easy to rack up loads of posts. Most of our posters moved to here, but there were some decent posters who don't seem to be around now. TheFlyngPlumber from Preston(who was here but seems to have gone), Pottermouth from Stoke are two that stand out, along with a whole host of irritating twats who supported Arsenal.
The best thing about old 606 was nearly every club had decent numbers on it. The mods there killed the forum by being miles too heavy handed. Looking at JA606 the format now just looks dated. I much prefer this format now with pictures, videos, quotes and how the latest subjects always come to the top of the page
It is definitely a better format on here, as is self club moderation, whatever it's failings, it's better than having the Gestapo in charge(there's nothing more annoying than not knowing why a post was deleted).

Very good points there PF I agree 100%. As I´ve said I´m a member but I hardly go on it, NOT is just so much better. Interesting if you do a lge table on posts on NOT606, we are near the top & some teams have next to non at all, but NOT606 is picking up season by season. I´m also glad that NOT606 is modded quite well, when you´re on a clubs board any way. When I first joined I came across PORN , it´s better now thank god. A shame you can´t delete posts from your own article but sill.
Too true ... the mods here, by contrast, are absolutely terrific and I think all members should consider contributing to a 'let's send the mods to the maldives for a well deserved break over the christmas holidays' campaign ..
