I had to sit in their 'cheering section' last year - only two songs - exactly after their goal (SWPs gift to them) - this year managed to get a seat with Rs! Taking son to first away day.

Went with my 11 year old daughter last year in colours, i live in North London, all the locals seemed fine, so wouldn't expect trouble, however after we win 2-0 you never know.

No problem at all wearing a shirt or any colours. We were 5 yards away from their fans and didnt get any abuse at all. Normally you get the local chavs there more interested in being twats than watching the game.

Brilliant stadium aseptically but a bit soulless with their awful fans. Hoping if we can get a good start they might start getting agitated and make the players even more edgy than normal.

Main memories from last year was that the bar was open throughout first half and at least a hundred odd Rangers fans made the weird decision to stay by the bar and watch the game on the tele down their while smashing the beers.

Looking forward to it tomorrow but ready for Hughes to do his best to cock it up by being overly negative

Really like that stadiumj..had the pleasure of seeing a Champions league game there before i emmigrated..
cannot see how anyone can fault it apart from being jelous....
SB is right..our team this year are built to grace a stadium and pitch like that..If we cannot play well on that pitch then i suggest we wind the club up into administration...
Seriously..i cannot speak highly enough about the emerates..everything a ground should be, apart from the team..

I reckon we could get a result there...or a hiding....

Col..your little one will be fine in colours mate.

    Have a great trip all.....

Totally totally safe!!! Not even feels like a football stadium really. More art gallery / exhibition centre- LOTS of tourists.

The greatest threat to your son will be if someone in the posh seats accidentally drops some hummus into the away end.
