Just wanted to provoke a bit of thought really... Not too sure how I feel about the idea of him coming to us on loan next season, obviously hasn't been as good as first reports suggested he was going to be. If we splash the cash on a new CB, CM and CF we might have to resort to loans... He could do a job up top as well as on either wing? Also cleverly could be an option, wondering who else we could possibly look at on a season long loan. Ireland yes, although I would snap him up for a smaller fee if loan wasn't an option - say 4m. Looking forward to this summer, hopefully Pards and Carr already have people in mind - get them early on, hate hate hate bringing in people late. Give them the full pre season is my view !!! excited for summer transfers either way
Cleverly I'll like but I think he'll be back-up/competition to the starting XI for Man United next season after his impressive displays with Wigan. Bebe.. mmm.. a mixed bags of beans IMO. Looks very raw yet has decent potential but I'm not sure if he'll make the grade at this level & I think he needs a loan spell somewhere else because whenever I've seen him play(Crawley in the FA Cup springs to mind) he looked very average & struggled throught the match. I think he needs a loan spell in the Championship/L1 next season to get regular games & to boost his confidence instead of rotting away in the reserves(same with Obertan). No-no to Bebe & yes to Cleverly.
Wouldnt want Bebe, would have Cleverly but only on a permanent deal. Probably wouldnt need him though with Gosling being back.
Looking forward to see Gosling was impressed with him when he played for Everton against in the 08/09 season.
I don't see the point in either. Bebebebe is crap and Cleverley looks like a class prospect but we're well stocked in midfield. Like Smudger said we've got Gosling and even Guthrie who I'd rather give playing time to. In any case, we all know Fergie doesn't like loaning players out for them to sit on the bench (ahem... Guiseppe Rossi)
This definitely. Cleverley I would like, but he won't come here to be on the bench. If/when Jose leaves, and we can't find a decent replacement, do you think Fergie would be willing to loan Rafael/Fabio to us to play at LB? They both look decent players, and would fit in here.
