I had several operations when they were piecing my mitt back together. They're a doddle. Some of them I was awake and watched what they were doing. Others I was put out. Woke up once in the theatre arguing with the nursing staff about who nicked my can of lager.

    I don't even drink lager.

med, laser eye surgery isnt an operation and you dont get anaesthetised

they dont put u under for most eye ops, guy i work withs sister got an eye operation n they injected her eye to numb it then operated on it and she could see everythin through it, the scalpel n everythin i couldnt do that

Had my wisdom teeth out under anaesthetic which was a bit freaky but other than that no I haven't.

If Kirsten's telling you to have a vasectomy why donlt you push back and suggest she gets seen to? Gambol can do it with a pair of pliers an a Dyson and and he offers favourable rates for mates.

Had all wisdom teeth out under anaesthetic in 1989.

Spent a week in hospital in 1984 to have a tumour removed from my shinbone. Basically a hammer and chisel job.

Anaesthetic is weird. They do tell you to count back from 10. I only managed to get to 8 both times, weird feeling indeed.

It's a bit of a waste to only view the world through 1 eye then isn't it?

If Kirsten really does want you to get the snip, get her to get the coil instead.

Don't be forced into anything you don't wanna do Bealehouse.

I'd go with local personally. The only problem with that of course is you will probably know exactly what's going on which could freak you out. I'm guessing you've discussed this with the doctor rather than just getting an opinion off of us shower of ****s though <laugh>
