Britain ain't gonna come out of recession for a long long time, we've got no industry to speak of, internet sales are killing the high street, and the banking and financial sector is distrusted.
While they may feel hard done by dealing with arseholes it doesn't give them the right to deal with other people and act like arseholes or just not bother. I had my housing benefits knocked back last year even though my P45 was stapled to the application. The official reason for knocking me back was "Not enough evidence of being unemployed was provided". So I go back into the council office ask them what they are playing at, the guy apologizes, says he'll fast track my application. 3 Weeks later they finally give me it but of course not without being ****ing ****ers. They refused to backdate my money for the 5 weeks I waited on them sorting out my application because "I hadn't been fast enough in sorting my application" even though it was their own ****ing fault. Ended up 361 quid down the ****er cause of housing officers.
Am gonny tell her that tomorrow night. Will cheer her up no end. I'm sure there are arseholes working there who will take out petty revenges on applicants. I don't agree with it, but I can understand it a bit knowing the sheer volume of ****e and abuse they put up with on a daily basis.
Naw I get that as well there will be some serious ****ing arseholes she'd need to deal with. I've sat next to plenty of them.
I always think the same about bus drivers - I empathise that they have to deal with absolute smegmutants all day but it's no reason to act like a dick when I'm trying to get home.
