I thought it was funny that he did the fastest final sector of the race in the final lap, kinda exposed his engineer there :)

It just looked far too staged to be true:

Crofty: "Oh I bet McLaren are running heavier fuel, are they? I think they are? Herbert what do you think? I think they are? you Herbert? you? Yeah I think they are, never mind Herbert I'm sure we will find out... TO MAYBE!....GIVE SOME HOPE TO THEIR FANS! *obvious statement is obvious to McLaren*"

About a minute or two later...

Engineer: "Ok Lewis you are the fastest man out there with this fuel load."

Sky and McLaren keeps the coverage (a little bit higher) than maybe not admitting RBR are probably going to cream them this weekend with a possible RBR domination.

Very surprised since RBR are full of the best British engineers in the world and yet the public don't like them lol! Moaning on footy of not enough decent players and yet Britain is untouchable in F1. How it's not the national sport over football is beyond me!

I think Mercedes might be our best hope for this, Ferrari too maybe, as this years car has been a mess.

They tried doing that last season and RBR dominated even more when they tried to copy their designs as much as possible.

It's simple, you have to think of something better than them, just like Brawn GP did. You cant beat RBR on their own turf, flexi wings, engine mapping etc...

You need to think of something different and make it last before RBR copy it and make it better, just like the DDRS + Rotary wings.

If it helps putting F1 back on the BBC?..............YES!

Hopefully 2013 will end up like another 2011 for Seb which will result F1 back on the BBC when the ratings plummet on Sky <ok> then F1 can go back to normal!

It's time RBR got a decent 2nd driver in the other car. Bullet proof reliability in the class of the field and Webber is, once again, nowhere. Unlike Ferrari/Schumacher dominance RBR are willing to let their drivers race each other, sadly Webber isn't, and never has been, up to the job of challenging Vettel, unless Vettel has mechanical issues, and even with some of those he can't keep up.

Alonso was using all the updates in second practice! Red Bull's updates were nothing compared to Ferrari's:

Alonso was only a tenth behind on hard tyres - take DDRS away from Red Bull and Ferrari would be quicker, which bodes well for the race. Alonso's tyres were older than Vettel's when he set his best lap on soft tyres so hopefully that means tomorrow Red Bull wont have a dominant advantage over Ferrari in Q3. FERRARI CAN WIN THIS RACE.

Wasn't Alonso faster on race pace at Korea as well?

And whats this DDD i'm hearing of?

*Pirelli: Vettel's tyres in Korea were just fine...*

Sebastian Vettel had a much bigger advantage in Korea than his tyre-conserving display suggested, claims Pirelli.

So will Seb do it again this time round?

The Ferrari looks fast but a bit of a handful. The Mercedes isn't looking to bad either but that could just be fake practice pace.
The Red Bull definitely still looks like the car to be in this weekend.

Bugger! Was hoping for a nice close race, after RBRs performance in FP1 and 2 I can see both of them driving off into the distance...
    I blame Newey!

I think Vettel might not actually run away after watching practice.

I think its interesting the gap to Alonso is consistant. I presuming this means one side is holding back and minding the gap
