    Don't think the penalty fits the crime here, he shouldn't be allowed to get away so easily with trying to cause damage to other users property!

    I'm afraid you're talking ****e mate. You do not need to download a .exe file to get a virus.

    One such example is a Java vulnerability which has recently been exploited (only over the past few weeks). When you visited a website, it loaded an embedded piece of Java which in-turn downloaded a fake anti-virus system. This system pretended that it was scanning your computer and pretended it found loads of viruses. The virus then suggested that you pay $30 for the program to remove it. If you opened any anti-virus systems, or even Firefox/IE, the virus instantly shut them down. It even managed to infect root files, so safe mode wouldn't work.

    However, a patch has recently been released from the developers which patched up the issue.

    There have been endless vulnerabilities. A few years back, you could get a virus just by opening what looked like a .jpg file. It was an IE vulnerability which Microsoft patched up days later. There have also been vulnerabilities with MP3 files, flash files and all sorts.

    I'm not sure if the same goes for OSX, but at least in Microsoft Windows, vulnerabilities pop up every now and again, and all you need to do is visit a website to get infected.

    He's a little rodent. And after making this thread he is STILL trying to get out of a few days ban. I've never, ever been angered more by someone on the internet. He has done nothing but sprayed a **** view of Newcastle fans on the site. I respect that they have a large site to mod, but that is not an excuse to give him a slap on the hand and a few bad words.     Honestly, I don't buy that - the biggest ****s on this site (in my opinion) are the one's spend all their time on opponents boards...They're the bellends who care little for our club and give us the ridiculous reputation of being deluded by spouting off bollocks in ****e arguments with anyone who'll pay them attention....As far as I'm aware Tash spends the vast majority of his time on here and not trolling other people's boards.

    As other's have said, he is very socially awkward at times and a classic example of aspergers/autism - Having spent a year working with kids like him before going to uni, I can't help but feel a bit sorry for him at times...Yes he brings stuff on himself, yes he does RIDICULOUSLY stupid things at times, but IMO there are far more who are far worse!
