I'm a bit of a fan of American literature John Fante, Cormack Mcarthy, Hunter Thompson and more but I have tried reading On The Road twice and it's just not very good, I have had a few agree with me but the majority seem to love it. What am I missing?
I don't tend to go for a book when in that state though. I'm not sure I'm aware that books exist at certain points.
Surprised no one has mentioned this one yet.. Top top film!
Pan's Labryinth- really smart movie, slow parts but it all builds up to the moral of the story pretty much. GOod movie.
I thought PL was done really well and was good movie. Something Wicked this way comes is on the cards for tonight. Evil Dead I watched again last night as well. Funny movie that.
Ok it's that time of week again, Mrs luv is off out Friday night leaving me a night free of girl tv. I need films guys, remember no comedy.
Withnail and I, Airplane, Meet the Parents, Hangover, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Uncle Buck, Animal House. How's that for starters?
Well you did say no comedy Any Stanley Kubrick film, especially Barry Lyndon. If you don't like comedy, but can handle a bit of satire, then Dr Strangelove is a cracker. Don't bother with Eyes Wide Shut, because it's not really Kubrick. The Exorcist is always worth a viewing
