    Let's talk about commission, 2 of my threads have generated upwards of 930,000 views, now I'm no advertising or maths specialist but even at 1p per view, we're talking at least £9m quid.

    Google Ads scans the page to see the content before serving advertisements, if it contains porn or rape or any of those subjects it doesn't show ads. So a lot of server resources have been hogged with no ads to pay for 'em :)
