I cant see why anyone would WANT to get rid of Diaby!

He's a unique player, Injury prone yes but awesome on his day.

    OUT:
    Bendtner
    Chamakh
    Arshavin
    Denilson
    Park
also his NAME IS DJOUROU why do you constantly write Djoure?? its ****ing weird!!! (sorry... havnt had my coffee this morning)

    IN:
Experienced back up keeper - Craig Gordon is FREE.
Leftback - Balzaretti. Experienced Italian International, The guy can defend and would make us considerably more organised at the back. Also would not be too expensive.
BENZEMA - He's powerful, very quick and is a typical 'Arsenal style' striker. (I COULD'NT CARE LESS IF HE COST US £25 MILLION - THE CLUB DECIDED TO SELL RVP, THEY NEED TO REPLACE HIM WITH SOME ****ING QUALITY)

I dont like the fact Wenger keeps trying to fit in a 'target man'. It does'nt suite our system. Giroud is a decent CF but he's a long way from being a TOP class one.

Karim Benzema on the other hand has already proved he can score goals on a REGULAR basis (not just one decent Season). He fits our style of play, he's French and Real seem willing to let him go in order to pursue Falcao and Neymar. Wenger has tried to sign him in the past.

    --------------------Sczezney--------------------
    Sagna--Mertesacker----Vermaelen---Balzeretti
    --------Diaby/Wilshere-----Arteta---------------
    ---------------------Carzorla---------------------
    Walcott-----------Benzema------------Podolski

Bench: Rosicky, TheOx, Giroud, Koscieleney, Gibbs, Ramsey, Gervinho and Craig Gordon.

Suddernly the team HAS pace and looks like it would score alot of goals.

Diaby & Wilshere are sorely missed at the moment.

    RANT OVER....and relax.

Benzema? I'm sure Madrid would love to sell you one of their best players for less than they originally paid for him (£30-35M).

Real pity it was Chelsea, not Arsenal, that got Mata. He'd be brilliant for you.

Apparently they are set to sign Neymar this Summer. (and there are also strong links with Falcao)

Then you consider Mourinho's preference for playing just the one CF. A player like Benzema needs games if he wants to be one of the very best strikers on the planet.

You have to admit he's a typical 'Wenger style' forward. (Think Henry, Anelka, Wiltord etc..)

Rosicky must stay - he is a top player and our only creative alternative to Cazorla. And to me is a much much better player than Diaby. We really miss him now. Cazorla was flat for two games, he could be substituted by Rosicky if he was fit. We will never find a squad player of his quality for that money. And get real, forget about Benzema, will will never get him and anyone of his caliber for the same reason we were unable to keep Nasri and RVP. We are unable to even keep Walcott for Christ sake...

The Bear - Diaby plays 2 good games and 6 awful games per season. For the rest 30+ games he is absent, nourishing another injury. The guy is unable to even take care of his own body. I was just gob smacked when I read about his "schoolboy leg". Doctor: Abu, one of your legs is just schoolboy.. Diaby: Really????
Ultimately it is not the doctors, it is him who is responsible for his own physical condition, and it was neglected for years and years. He is a pro with a schoolboy mentality. On top of that horrible injury that did not help either. But there are lots of players who have recovered from injuries. I am really annoyed when I hear, yes he played badly today, again.. But it is because of his injury 3 years ago...
I am convinced that a lot of small injuries for many footballers is the result of the lack of mental discipline. Look at Arteta - the is very rarely injured, and he is kicked a lot. But he is a disciplined pro. Diaby's mind is wandering somewhere, he is prone to slow thinking, losing concentration and making wrong decisions. When you do a lot of small mistakes - a slightly bad positioning, a slightly wrong timing, a slightly bad first touch due to bad concentration etc - you have to compensate by overstretching. You overstretch yourself - you got a muscle strain, or tear or an awkward fall and your ankle is gone. That is what I believe is behind persistent Diaby injuries.
To me Diaby is one of the most overrated player of them all. He has talent, but talent alone does not win matches. Just Google his stats throughout his whole career - they are abysmal. He says he likes to go forward and score goals, calls himself an attacking midfielder. The guy scores total 20 goals in his life as a pro - 20 goals in 10 years. 2 goals per year. And his most impressive was the header he scored when we played ManU. What a header! Almunia was helpless. Or was it still Lehmann in our goal?

Rant is over, sorry if offended Diaby fans. I may be biased, I just can not stand the guy.

I will change my opinion when Diaby plays 20 brilliant games in a row. Not much hope it will ever happen. Rosicky at least gave us a fantastic half a season this year.

The issue is having Wilshere, Rosicky and Diaby all out injured at the same time. All 3 of them would be ahead of Ramsey in the pecking order.

Rosicky as a squad player is simply amazing. Not many teams can call on a player like him as a back-up.

Diaby is a complete beast. It's only because of his regular injuries that people forget how good he can be. He is a big and powerful and skillfull to match it. It is no coincidence that since his injury we have looked much weaker in midfield and are battling less.

    And Wilshere is Wilshere.

It would be fine to have 1, or possibly 2 of these injured at once, because that still leaves us 3 very very good midfielders to start and a Ramsey/Coq/Frimp on the bench.

It's just that Arsenal don't seem to get one injury in a position, we always wipe out an entire section of our team with injuries!

We either have no wide men, or no midfielders, or no defence or no keeper - its ****ing ridiculous. Why are our injuries always in one area of the team which ends up causing such an issue??

Agree with all of the above except Gervinho as I think he is waiting to happen.
