I agree actually. We'll sporadically play pretty football.

At least years ago, we'd win nothing but could claim we were the most entertaining.

Now we can't even lay a claim to that title.

This is how bad it's got. We are apparently 'there for the taking'. Says the ****ing QPR fan ahead of a game against the Arsenal at the Emirates. And is he wrong? Probably not. Dear oh dear.

 

I know we're bad at the moment, but QPR are worse. We'll bounce back on Saturday by thumping them, then go out of the COC next week to Reading.

There a simple mathematical rule in football .

If you cant score goals , you will win fuck all .

We HAD , the highest goalscorer in the league.

I am not despondent about that because I said the same after you lost Henry, Adebayor, Eduardo. Someone new ill rise up. And our CF wasn't the problem today. Hell eh hasn't even been a problem since the 1st 2 games and Chavksi game. The problem is the lack of service.

 

If we don't sign someone in January (and no cheapo options please board), then we're in trouble. At the moment, we have plenty of time to steady the ship and get the season back on track. We'll still finish 4th, that's almost guaranteed. We may be bad, but our rivals for 4th are worse.

 

It is not the STRIKER that is the problem. It is the LACK OF SERVICE FROM THE MIDFIELD AND WINGERS

 

stat. Peter Crouch has scored more goals this season than Gervinho or Giroud .

Those two things go hand in hand. There is a lack of service because the movement upfront is simply not good enough. Look at RVP last year, he made Song like Xavi with his movement. Cazorla even if he is not at his best can find passes but in the last two games he has not. Why? Because like I said the movement is simply not there.

 

Arsenal are a good team just playing badly. It is bad to see such hatred towards the players.

Shalke are a very good team - better than Arsenal. It is no disgrace to lose to them.

Arsenal will beat QPR.

You are honestly telling me the sit the midfield and Wings played today would have found Giroud regardless id what position he was in? Also considering he played for only 20 minutes and his best strength is headers (our only good crosser was Jenkinson)

 

I didn't say sign a striker, i just said sign someone. For all you know i could be asking for us to sign a keeper.

Of course we would have. You only need go back to the 10/11 season. We smashed a team like Shakhtar 5-1 at home. Our forward was Chamakh, but he had Walcott,Nasri,Wilshere and Fabregas feeding him. Today we have Ramsey,Podolski,Cazorla and Coquelin.

 

Tbh I knew most people would be blaming the striker.

 

We will never be good enough to win anything while we have this crazy penny pinching policy. ****ing embarrassing. I have a bad feeling that this will be the season that we finally fail to make top four.
