Does anyone watch this pish now. I stopped when the "politically correct" BBC sacked Deayton for indiscretions which didnt even happen at Saviles Bush. Deayton was the best thing about the programme. Hislop is a slimy prick and Merton is just an unfunny **** who seriously thought he could resurrect Hancock ffs.

Seriously The Beeb could be on the verge of one of the biggest own goals ever.

Aye Dayton was class. Utter ****e since. Think the main reason he was sacked was because of a falling out with Hilltop. Apparently Hilltop has some involvement in the production of the show

 

His humour was dry as ****, hilarious. Far too scripted now also

Deyton was funny but I think his entire persona, including his character in One Foot In The Grave, is basically a Basil Fawlty/John Cleese impersonation.
