My personal favourite: Syria is Iran's route to the sea by Romney. Here Bluff: Its surprisingly close, Do you think R has a real chance of becoming POTUS?
I don't know man. THe last debate I think obama got him but we will see. I think when you get past all the bullshit, the facts/non-facts, lies, propoganda, etc. I think Romney is a prick. His demeanor, way he talks, attitudes toward women and gays, things like that, just don't fill me with confidence. Not saying Obama is great but just something does not sit well with me about Romney.
Yeah; Obama hasn't quite been the messiah he was built up to be which is only natural given that he's a human being and like us you've faced one of the nastiest economic circumstances in 100 years. He comes across quite arrogant & detached from the people sometimes. But I (as an admiring outsider) just don't like the way the Republican Party has allowed itself to be dragged. It's like each crisis it faces drives it further looney right than back to main stream centre. In a two party system you need real choice for balance. As for Romney himself; he just seems fake (I know they all are with their PR teams as you say) but everything I see of him says he's another W. Suppose you'll see very shortly.
I think Obama will just pip him to it due to that, he does not seem fully genuine and his campaign has had some bad mistakes in it. Where is a Clinton when you need one? That man played the sax, cleared our debt, and got blown in the White House! ****ing legend!
Clinton will go down in history as one of your best presidents! And not just for his cigar tricks! Bets on his Missus next up after Obamas 2nd term? What age will Hilary be then?
Isn't Romney a Mormon? That's a(nother) crazy religion, right there. The contrast between having Obama as POTUS and then subsequently having Romney as president would be huge. For a start, Obama is black and the Mormon faith teaches that black skin is a curse from God because of their wicked ancestors (the 'lamanites'). If Romney wins it shows, like with George W. Bush and Reagan before him, anybody could be US president. Let's try and get Arnie in! Why not? He couldn't do any worse.
Hills is knocking on a bit now (mid sixties?) so might have left it a bit late. Talking of Bill, that's the trouble with politics, your enemies will dig up anything to bring you down- and if there's nowt there they'll just make it up. It's bad enough over here, but seems far worse in the States. It's a sad state of affairs when your suitability to run a country is judged by how well you perform on telly.
Look, any country that can elect Jimmy Carter as President; let one brother steal an election for you, and have such a flawed process that it's possible to 'write-in' Canada as a candidate - anything is possible. Personally, I don't like the look and/or smell of Romney. Obama never stood a chance from day 1
If Romney wins it shows that only those who have millions can become US president! Wait a minute, in't that the same over here if you want to be a government minister?
Was watching Tosh.0 there other night and he made a joke about the KKK rebranding themselves as the Tea Party. That's how the general consensus feels about him anyways. Regarding the Romney and Obama, deep down on a non political level I think Romney is just a douche, where Obama comes off as a good guy and likable character. Granted we should elect the best candidate based on what they're capable of doing for our country and not whether or not they're nice guys. Still think Obama will win though.
I think Romney is not a winner, like Brendan Rodgers. I place all the blame for the results of the country of Romney, just like I do for Brendan Rodgers..... Serious note again- I think Obama will just about get it, but do wish there was another candidate who had good ideas but wasn't a ****ing d-bag.
Romney is a rich dick, but that doesn't mean that he won't be popular. He's proven in some speeches that he has very little in the way of brains, in comparison to Obama. Intelligence isn't always appreciated in America and, with the electorate, stupidity seems to actively be a vote-winner. Look at the popularity of George W. Bush, Reagan and Sara Palin, and I doubt they could pour p*ss out of a shoe if the instructions were written on the heel! The future of American politics is at stake: if Romney wins it's the beginning of the end. Doomed, I tell you! Doomed, Mr. Mainwaring!
Unbelievable. Standards truly are slipping everywhere. Harvard needs to hang its academic head in shame. Goes to show that money can buy an education but not the capacity to use it. Harvard...
