Think that would sum up most people's views.

Boost for us but nobody wants to see any player get an injury.

They've still got the likes of Samba, Zhirkov & Eto'o in their side so we've still got to be on top of our game to get a positive result.

I'm putting the Ruskies down for a win with this. Rodgers has to put the kids out, and I think this very experienced side with such an experienced manager will be more than enough to dismantle the young reds. I hope I am proved wrong, but we can't afford to commit any resources to this game, and will have to live and die with the inexperience and enthusiasm on the teenie reds. Can Carra put a stop to Eto'o?

The truth is, that we need to blood a young attacker or two, be it Morgan, Yesil and/or Ngoo we need to see if any of them can take the bit and put a shift in again a team at this level, then we can know if we can risk one of them against top flight opposition over the coming weeks.

The only players in their line up that really stand out are Eto'o and Traore. Traore is strong, very big - could be bad for Carra.

If we keep the ball, we can expose their defence.

to my mind, lets see the team rodgers puts out.... it might not be "that weak"

wisdom might not play for wxample as a new first tema player.... but enrique might come in or robinson... no issues there..

    jones is sure to play....

    carragher, coates......

    henderosn ,shelvey....

    assaidi, downing....

    yesil.....

    Jones
    Flanagan/wisdom Carragher Coates Robinson/enrique
    Henderson gerrard shelvey
    Downing yesil Assaidi

suarez on the bench in cotton wool.

if we played this side is it THAT weak?

Cannot underestimate Traore and the havoc he can cause. Also the few brazilians they have ( Jusileu is good) can always cause a problem or two on their day, big name or not.

Will be interesting to see the Poll in our next few weeks of games but this in particular. A lot of eye on Everton I think.

Didn't come out right. We will have one eye on Everton so might accept a draw today but really focusing everything on Everton. Or, as it happens in the game, the players themselves just have that eye on Everton and forget about the team that is in the here and now ( Possibly what chelsea did yesterday?).

Hope we dont see Any of Downing tomorrow...Would prefer to see younger hungrier players get games....

    GK: Jones
    RB: Flanno/Wilson
    LB: Robinson
    CB: Carra
    CB: Coates
    CM: Shelvey
    CM: Henderson
    CM: Cole
    LF: Pacheco
    RF: Ossie
    CF: Yesil

Subs: Gulacsi, Agger, Suarez, Morgan, Sterling, Suso and Allen....

It will be a tough game, but id behappy to play the young guns again, bit of experience and see what happens.....

That's slightly more comprehensible, now making it clear as mud.
