You're right. Messi's 70-odd goals this year have shown him to be well past his prime. And the 6 Barca players that were in Spain's starting 11 that won the European Championship final 4-0 a few months back are pish too. And the fact that they're unbeaten in 18 home CL games, and entirely unbeaten this season, top of La Liga (8 points ahead of Real) obviously shows they're struggling.

Sirling Albion on the other hand were in a rich vein of form ...

barca are a great side - consistently the best in the world - while xavi iniesta and messi are there they will always be the best attacking force football has seen at club level
