Can't believe the Canaries having to stoop this low to sell tickets - "There is a 4-for-£44 offer available for the game, which takes place on Saturday, ko 12.45pm. That means you can buy four tickets in the North Stand Upper for £44 [two adults and two juniors]".
Why if it's 'Lambert's Lions', can it not be 'Hughton's Heroes'??????

We would charge around £44 for 1 casual ticket and still fill our ground (I know it's considerable smaller!!!)

I believe Villa have been selling family tickets at a ridiculously low cost for some time (not sure if it is for all games, I suspect not), perhaps this is the only reason they remain well supported for 'lesser' games.

I remember when I was there for the corresponding fixture last year and they were offering the same deal for their upcoming fixture against Man Ure at £45!! We charged that for an adult casual ticket and still filled Carrow Road.

Supply and demmand. They've got a big-ass empty stadium so thry can afford to sell tickets like this.

    We are capacity every week.

to be fair, that is a very, very good deal by villa. no excuses for families over in birmingham to not go at those prices.

well yes. that is a reason for not going, but they can't complain at the prices to be insulted and sworn at.

Many clubs have asked permission to sell tickets outside of the current regulations. I'm not sure who it is but they are trialling the US idea of almost like buying a ticket for a budget airline. If you buy your ticket 8 weeks before the game you may get it for £20 but if you buy it 10 minutes before KO its £50. The legislation provides for tickets to avialble to all at the same price and obviously away fans as well.
San Francisco Giants were the first sporting organisation to use it in the USA and apparently its a success but I wouldn't necessarily apply it to football in this country. Baseball play about 120 games a season so they aren't going to get sell outs too many times.
Obviously NCFC would no doubt lose money considering our current level of interest.

I think Villa have identified this as a "Must Win" game for lots of reasons.Quite simply first off they desperately need three points. Then there is the Lambert factor and thirdly the fans must be desperate to see some kind of progress. At this point last season Villa had 11 points and had only lost one game under the reviled McLeish. If we can score on Saturday then I can't see them getting two. This is one game though where a 0-0 would do me.Would be nice to see our No9 get the winner though.

agree that this match is must-win for villa. not quite the same for us, a point would be fine, good i'd say.

Certainly not a must win for us but I will be disappointed if we don't win. I would say this is the most confident I have felt about getting an away win in the PL since our return. I really believe, unless Villa play a blinder (in which case my disappointed may not happen) they are there to be beaten.

Sheffield Utd are currently selling tickets to students and anyone under 18 for £1, I think for nearly any game. I think I've found how I'm getting my fix of evening football now.
