If Barca didnt get the winner it would have been a tragedy, most one sided game involving an existing club since 67. The goal was always coming, was a bit of a killer that it came so late but they deserved to win the game, Celtic done well to stay in it as long as they did but class tells in the end. A win against Moscow in the last game might be enough to get through.

my only criticism was our inability at times to kep hold of the ball. beating barca was always going to be a tough ask but if you can't keep the ball you make it even tougher.

great performance overall. first euro defeat since athletico madrid for lenny. cap dothed mr lennon.

sorry just realised i have a second criticism. lenny's tracksuit. someone needs to have the balls to tell him he is no longer an L and he needs to get an xl.

    indeed.

Losing sammi was a major problem, hooper couldnt hold the ball upfield when he got it...and near the end when he had the chance to take it to the corner but turned inside and lost it to their defender had me shouting at the telly...all in all we were pretty unlucky , wouldve been great to have sneaked a point. On the plus side I thought wilson, ambrose and lustig did really well all things considered, should teach them a lot.

One of my pals is a big Caley fan, I remember him being utterly devastated when we knocked them out the Scottish Cup with two goals in injury time (Miller & Pressley?)

At least we're still in 2nd place in the group with 2 home games left. Spartak beating Benfica was a major bonus.

I got over it pretty quickly. Maybe I am more stoical about these things these days. The many positives can be easily accentuated. As far as heartbreaking defeats go, it aint the worst.

After Seville I can handle pretty much any defeat now. That was utterly heartbreaking.

Seville and last night I was proud of my team whatever happened, the two European games that broke my heart were Lyon, Balde hand ball 87th min to concede penalty to stop us getting into last 16 and with that team we could have gone further , also the night Jackie scored 4 but Partizan put us out with a last minute winner .

    That was ****ing hilarious <laugh>

Martin O'Beels interview after the game was hysterical, he couldn't contain his beel.

"shocking, shocking, shocking!" To be fair, it was the softest penalty in history until Stokes pathetic attempt at Ibrox a couple of seasons ago which led to the Thammy save.
