...When i look at this site on my iPhone I keep getting a pop up from a website called mobirewards saying I am the 10,000th visitor and won a iPhone 5. This is the only site it is happening on. Anyone else having the same problem or know how to get rid of it?
If your phone remembers you for this website you shouldn't see any adverts anyway. The site is set to only show the adverts to people who aren't logged in users.
I've had it too a couple of times. Switch to airplane mode and close down soonest as its clearly downloading in the background. Almost sent mr to a link starting 'naked?' . Tempted as I was I got rid!
That's the problem with the products of feral capitalism. Personally I avoid such issues running Red Flag Linux on my Loongson 3A
I had this problem at work on Saturday night. I use an old iPhone 3 for reading the not 606 site during the down time at the station. No matter what I tried, login in and out, booting and rebooting I had the same web-site as you telling me I had won an iPhone 5. It was driving me mad.
I've had it a few times too. It's out of nowhere, I only ever use my phone for Internet and its just started happening.
I also use a Galaxy Note. I've never had a problem on this site when using this device. It must be an apple thing.
I had a pop up problem with a toaster once - I still have a semi-toasted teacake lodged in my cranium...
I use an iPhone 3 too and strangely enough it hasn't happened to me..... yet. We always get things last over here.
I'm getting this on my iPhone 4S for the last couple of days I go on the pistonheads site and that's been blighted with the same pop up for a couple of weeks Only happens when I first click to a new page or refresh a thread once but then doesn't happen again
