Can't really believe that. Everything seemed to be going so well. Clearly there is a problem that has to be sorted.
Discipline is a big problem, but I think stupidity from young Nathaniel Chalobah and the referees' seeming desire to do us down does not help. We are now without two players for Saturday.
Very very disappointing we should not be having 2 players sent off, the discipline has to improve dramatically otherwise we really are going to struggle to compete!
I can't put it into words but I'll try. These guys are supposed to be pros. Dyche had us on a tight ship, no big time charlies and mouthy players, working as a squad. OK so we might be doing that now and to some extent playing better football. BUT stupid red cards are costing us games. Once you have got a bad rep it is even harder. ZOLA had BETTER sort this out soon I can't accept stupid reds, one maybe but how many have we had now? STupid and all our own doing.
Maybe Zola is a bit too nice. I can think of a few managers who would be apoplectic about one red card...never mind the number we've had already this season.
Any word on what Pudil actually did for his card? Chalobah's second yellow was probably down to youth & inexperience - annoying, but at 17 almost could be expected. One door shuts and another opens - a chance on Saturday for the unknown Frenchman whose name completely escapes me? Or will Hodson be thrown to the wolves at left back again? Or will Doyley & Thompson retain their spots? Or will Forsyth be recalled from Bradford? Blimey, so many options my head hurts thinking about them?

I think that was our get out of jail free card tonight, without going into too much detail…..I thought it was a very frustrating game, we lacked tempo, and even when they were down to nine men, we did not exploit our numerical advantage until a last gasp goal. All credit to Watford, their defence seemed a lot more organised and composed, and to me they seemed to create the better openings, with Marshall making some key saves to deny them a second goal.. I think Malky needs to get the team into extra shooting practice, very relieved with the three points, but I am not sure I can take much more of that. I understand no team has a divine right to win any game in the championship but with twenty or so minutes left in a game the opposition down to nine men, and the quality and depth of our squad I thought we may do better than that. I don’t think Watford should be down hearted, if they perform like that week in week out they have as much of a chance as any for putting up a challenge to be in the top six; And I wish them all the best in the rest of the season. But come on Bluebirds, let’s starting winning some away fixtures and score and increase our shots to goals ratio.
Bolton - Seems to be the case that Puldi lashed out in front of the lino off the ball. Penalty sounds like one of those 50/50s you get if your a home side losing late on.. I almost wish we'd let in a few goals afterwards rather than lost it in the final seconds!
well, for the second half, it was just ball after ball into the box, often the quality of delivery was non existant, and it was only at the 90th whistle that we got the goal our perseverance deserved. it was inevitable we would eventually score if you saw the game. to be honest, some of the decisions were crap and killed the game, i'll hold my hands up, but its a classic case of swings and roundabouts - 3 weeks ago we went 1-0 down to a clear handball, i didnt complain then, i said luck evens itself out. didnt see the first red, thought the pen was very harsh, and the ref could possibly have exercised a bit of discretion with the young lad who kicks the ball away to waste time - sometimes they give yellows and sometimes they dont......
That was a clear penalty. Arm raised shot looked to me as though it was going in. Watford played well - you can see why you do well away. Youll be around the play offs. On the pricing it was the same for our fans on the night. Think our cheapest price is £31. 2 men off . Didnt see the 1st. But your left wing back Cassetti could have gone 1st half and the lad that was sent off got 2 bookings you couldnt argue with. You need to get some control . Think we would have got the draw but your indiscipline gifted us the game. Id say there was around 150-200 Watford fans. Malky went over and clapped them and they responded by clapping back. Seems hes forgiven.
