it was good. good seeing everyone (didnt invite any random family i dont actually like), everyone got pissed up and had a good laugh. i ended up getting her a print of a painting she likes (walked past it in the galleries and remembered, total fluke) a pendant and the copy of good housekeeping (she laughed, must've been in a good mood). she got me a pair of custom trainers, now thats love.
to make a decision like that she'd need some spirit and determination to leave, luckily i wore her down long ago so she's going nowhere. the last wk has been spent in berlin defiling the mrs, basking in the 30 degree heat (whilst avoiding frying) and generally not looking forward to going back to work
