For me the Sess' experiment is over.

Steve Bruce started this at the beginning of last Season. Sess' in the hole. Well for me both Bruce and O'Neill have both stick with it but it flatters to deceive.

Sess' doesn't score enough goals. 8 last season no so far this, I don't even think he has had a shot this season. This system seems not to allow our attacking players to link up. Our central midfield seem miles away from our forwards.

Now is it the system or the personelle. Well Johnson, Mcclean and sess have all been bang out of form however when you watch them they play at least 30 yards apart. No support to each other and it seems very easy to defend as the player with the ball is easy to isolate. Sess is there to link the play but he simply links nothing. I've yet to see Sess' strike up an understanding with a fellow striker.

Time to scrap this system, our players cannot play it and we are suffering. Get back to 4-4-2. More of an attacking threat and something for the opposition to worry about.

Fair do's. The way we have played speaks for itself. Time for certain players to buck up.

in the 4-2-3-1 its vital that the two are capable of getting the ball from the defenders moving it forward then picking out a 3 facing the opposition. Atm the 2 are getting the ball within 20 yards in our own half and passing it to the 3 on the half way line with the backs to goal with 8 opposition players goal side of them. The key for us is finding a 2 that works

The way Sess has played so far reminds me of Bents last season. Looks unhappy, disinterested and anonymous during games. I'd bet my house on him not being here at the end of this season........if I had a house ;-)

You may well be right, all the youtube vids, before we bought him, showed he was better on the right wing to midfield ,and being allowed to wander. seemed to work out well, but still early days.

I am not sure its Sess in particular, I think our central midfield has a lot to answer for. Sess rarely gets quality ball to him because the midfield are so negative. Colback was playing better at LB this season. A re-think is in order, I would like to see Gardner in the middle, maybe with Catts or even Vaughan. I would be quite in favour of a 433 maybe like this:

    ..............Mig.............
    Bardo Jos Carlos Rose
    .Larson Catts Gardner.
    Sess....Fletch.......AJ

Why do we find it so easy to pick a side that might shake things up - we need MON to do it - hope he does for the stoke game!

Just can't see it happening for away games. Tbh we have been unlucky as well as lucky (if you get my drift). It's not pretty but leading ,picking up points, last seconds leveler v West Ham. I just get the feeling that he (MON) just doesn't get it. If we are getting points then I think he's happy. Again which is fair enough but HOME IS WERE THE HEART IS. (OR SHOULD BE)
