Not that surprised I suppose, he is having a good run there and is well liked. http://www.examiner.co.uk/huddersfi...o-huddersfield-town-permanent-86081-32083950/ Always showed potential but always injured. What do you guys think? Keep him or sell?
I was sorry to see he felt unwanted at Norwich! We definitely did want him, but we wanted him to be injury free!
I saw an interview with their boss this weekend too which said they wanted to try and get both their loaned strikers on permanent deals. So if the price is right I think he'll go.
Had a chat with a Huddersfield fan about him and they love him. Could comfortably afford him with the Rhodes money too. It's shame though, I'd like to see him have a proper crack here
he likes being up north. lets recoup the £1m or so we paid for him and put it towards finding the next grant holt
i'd take that comment with a pinch of salt. vaughan spent very little time in norwich and even less/fewer under hughton. he was almost always up north. he never settled in the area and hughton appears to me to have gone out of his way to find him somewhere he can settle and play some football. whether hughton would want him back is another question - personally i don't really see the point in getting him back if he couldn't settle in the first place, so vaughan is saying all the right things to his prospective new employers to make a deal happen.
just to add to that, i'm a vaughan fan - i really hoped he'd offer us something new this season but you can't make the lad settle and you certainly couldn't guarantee he'd stay fit. he's already missed two games through separate injuries at huddersfield.
I saw bits of his game that I thought would do us well this season and was surprised when he went out on loan. Superman seems to have insider information that he was not very happy living and being in the city so it is probbably best that he moves on, maybe he just prefers it up north I guess he feels more at home. It is a shame though as he has the potential to be a big talent he just couldn't stay injury free.
He is frequently seen in Liverpool nightclubs, i don't think Norwich quite had the nightlife he craves
Well good luck with that one.Deals like that turn up about once a generation.Something we can definitely thank Gunny for.
I hope he continues to bang the goals in there. It's only increasing his valuation, agree with Supers, no point having him if he doesn't want to be here. As well as that I think Harry Kane will do well once his injury is out the way, he might have missed a couple of sitters but he is getting in the positions, once he slots one in I think he will get a few goals for us this season.
Don't forget the numerous fans who chose not to take their rebate for us being relegated as well - he mentioned that on his Talksport interview yesterday. I know quite a few who took it and when I asked them at the end of the season if they would now pay £100 back to go into the transfer kitty - they all said, "Yes!!" I agree re Vaughan - if he's happy at Huddersfield, then let him sign, though I woould have loved to have seen him in Yellow and Green provided he was fit more often than not.
