I've heard all about you mate, all good. I'll look forward to it, you should be easy to spot by all accounts
There you go Secret. 15 December it is then. Do everything I can to make it - sorting match tickets when the time comes will help. Maybe some of the Irish lads will come - especially those who can't make the Southampton game. On the question of recognition, shouldn't be too difficult. Just look out for a growing bunch of 30s to 60 something saddos in hoops! Not much of a drinker though, so I'll be the one with the cappuccino or something, holding Northolt back from temptation! Btw, took me all of 5 seconds to know who Nines was when we met. Looks like his posts. All upstanding, positive and smiley. Norway, on the other hand, didn't - simply cos I'd stupidly stereotyped our Scandinavians as blondies or thereabouts and he's anything but! (Still expecting Igor to be a bent up little red devil for some reason, can't think why!)
Lol Big up to the boss Brixton for bumping this I'd like to know what venue is good for all? The date is good with me but what about everyone else? I'd also like to meet the Irish lads so this date ticks the boxes. We can poll up if you like just as long as it doesn't make me look cringeworthy !!
Thank you for the image you created brix...... Unfortunately im more like a big and fat bastard-type a-hole!
That was one memorable get together Brix. I'll take our first meet as a compliment everytime. I shall never forget the moment you looked me in the eye and said... ''Your nines aren't you? '' You really are an enigma, and if the good men ( and women.....beth ) could have the pleasure of meeting you I'm sure they would feel the same. Even to this day on our short walk to the stadium, It felt like brothers meeting up with so much catching up. It was a real pleasure to meet you my mate. The members on our board who are yet to meet you are in for a real treat.
Meeting rangercol is something I will really look forward to. I often find myself looking across from the lower loft ( where I now sit ) towards T block and thinking is that rangercol assessing our formation and overall endeavour. The last time I sat in Ellerslie road was v Doncaster at home. 3-0. I used to love sitting in Ellerslie Road, lots of free seats. You could spread out like as if you we're on a plane. Those days are seemingly long gone.
Of course you are invited Queens...... I would so love to meet you (I bet I could spot you a mile away...I have a strong mental picture of you)...but I assume the logistics would prevent you
S block nines!!(7 rows back) Can't make 15th Dec unfortunately as I have to rush off after the game. Unless there's a meet up BEFORE the game?
Seeing as we have all registered our ages, could we pick a quiet pub, not one of those with loud music which you cannot tell what they are singing about
Blimey, if this is really going ahead I might have to get the Grecian 2000 out as I wouldn't want people thinking I was actually not the dashing dynamic type that I obviously come across like on here. There used to be some quieter places like the Greyhound in Becklow Road but all the pubs get pretty busy these days particularly the good old Crown & Sceptre. The Goldhawk possibly?
