According to our own resident luvvie darling theatre going critic Tarquin "STD" Smythesbottom they are but I don't agree. I think the **** doth protest too much.

I love 50's Hollywood Musicals and many of the contemporary ones as well.

Carousel and West Side Story are my two favourites. Cabaret is another, Cats, Evita, lot's of fantastic musicals which raise the hairs on the back of one's neck.

Come on STD, be true to yourself and open up. You have no problem opening up for the boys.

We went to watch Oliver, starring Brian Conley, at the Theatre Royal in Newcatle last week. Enjoyed it, you've got to pick a pocket or two, boys, you've got to pick a pocket or two.

Was dying to shout "it's a puppet" but restrained meself.

Hmmm, yet another with repressed sexuality issues. Seems to be a common trait on here.

    I kinda like musicals. Sometimes.

Got dragged off to see "Madame Butterfly" which was singing from start to end (no spoken dialogue). I fell asleep. She woke me up for the intermission drinky-poo, then I fell asleep again.

I was also a on a flight coming back from holiday when they showed Baz Lurman's "Moulin Rouge". Thoroughly enjoyed it.
