Hasn't Jimmy got two more years on his contract. What lame-brain would give up over four and a half million quid in exchange for a contract worth a quarter of that amount.
Somebody is having a lend of me. He doesn't have to sign a permanent contract as he can sign a year long loan and still pick up his 45 grand per week. Simples.
Sounds to me like the cheeky sod wants his contract paid out in full so he can get another ten grand per week on top of it.
    Smart bloke our Jim!
Watch out for him in the future if he ever goes into Club Management.

Maybe he'll do one of those things where we still pay part of his wages for a year. I certainly wouldn't be disappointed paying 10,000 p/w for Jimmy for a year if it meant he'd left the club.

I think AP would agree with you, however there is little chance of someone paying £35k per week for him

A Pearson said that the Allams arent interested in paying part of our players wages to play for another club last week on humberside, so if someone doesnt come in with a permanent deal or agreeing to pay all his wages in a loan, then he'll be in the squad come august. Same with Oli.

You cannot blame Bullard for his wages, nor can you blame the Allams for not wanting to pay for another teams player. If Bullard was forced to return to City would his injuries miraculously and suddenly reappear. Does Hull City really want a player back at the club who does not want to play for them. I fear that he would become very disruptive to the team.

i think you have to remember my scottish chum that more often than not interviews that appear are because the media has gone to talk to someone to get something jiucy and will make it more juicy if they can.

I fully agree with what you say "x", but he could refrain from his loose mouth antics. As I said earlier, he should take a leaf out of the book of some of our loanee's, and pass the buck to the managers, or make a "nothing" statement, that way he may garner some respect from a portion of the Tiger Nation that he lost quite some time back.

its a fair point but the respect may just be too far down the back of the settee for many of us. i still blame others partly for him as well. a sorry episode in most ways and i just want to see him off the books.

I fully agree with your "settee" analogy, but, so as not to upset my mate Twf'y, and others who still hold a candle for him, I tempered my comment! I, too, just want to see and end to this sorry chapter in the clubs recent history, and the money he is being paid, to be available for other players to come in and strengthen our squad.

So JB has been voted Ipswich's player of the year - good for him. He's the best player that we have on our books and, if it hadn't been for Adam Pearson's totally inept decision not to allow him to play for us at the start of the season, we would now be in the play offs at the very least and possibly an automatic promotion place. When will we ever learn that Finance men should never be allowed to dictate team selection!!

Isn't he injured, that wouldn't have been much good for our promotion push? Bullard is technically talented but as a team player for us he is at best, useless and a bad influence on the hungry young pros we have now that constitute the future of the club.

A breath of fresh air on this forum.

I agree that we would be in the play-offs with JB's influence.

Not even tempted to click what the clueless one has written, despite all the available evidence some people can believe whatever they want to believe, we will never play like Barca in the Championship and Bullard was a great player before injuries, age, and lifestyle caught up with him, whichever team has him in the future will be like us and Fulham, delighted with him to start with before it all ends badly.

Like I've said, tail him with a private detective, and find a breach of contract, then it can be cancelled legally...

Probably be cheaper to hire a four-man hit-team from the S.A.S., then they could make our problem disappear!!!
