Yeah but the quotes about being discriminated against for being orange were from Victoria Derbyshire's show this morning on 5 live. 'Oi Sunbed' ha.
The way Phil comes across makes him look like an idiot at times but I agree with the comment about Rio, to an extent.
He's definitely a lot more intelligent than he comes across in the media. He was speaking at a golf day a few weeks ago in Cottingham and it was interesting listening to all his stories and views and stuff.
SB has the potential to eclipse him.... steadying a sinking team and getting us (potentially) into the premiership. were 6th now and were improving, NOW the prozzy has started to score... I dont wish to sound bitter, but ****ing boring **** is at the top of the table! IF Lessta get promoted, we'll never hear the end of it from AKCJ and other pricks.
Here's hoping! But SB inherited a significantly better team than PB did All depends now on how brave SB is in fixing the team's faults between now and May- hopefully we won't just stay between 6th and 10th.......
I agree that Bruce has a significantly better team, but in contrast, it's now also a significantly stronger league than 5 years ago, much more quality these days. Maybe the new premier league squad rules have had an impact, or it could be down to more filthy rich throwing their money about in the championship, or both.
Spending often helps but not always ITFC on saturday had some very good larkers but their manager just can't put the pieces together SB as I said needs to identify our weak spots and eliminate them (Sooner Hobbs and Chester are back again the better)
Not a chance. He got lucky and his luck ran out. imo Cliff Brittain - Terry Neill and Peter Taylor were better managers and Brian Horton back in the 80's would have got City to the top flight IF Don Robinson had allowed money to be spent for the final push. We were so close and to lose out to the old Wimbledon was bad very bad.
