I hope we get Ned & fancy we might get Welbeck again. I'd also like to get Muntari & Elmo. Poolie_mackem: "RB (Onuoha is the man he wants) / CB / LB / CM / LW / CF x3" That's spot on but I've not got clue who they are. Brucie always seems to buy some unlikely/less known players, who sometimes work out, sometime don't. I think that N'Zogbia is nailed on but beyond that I'm largly clueless & I think they'll be some suprises. Boothroyd & Defoe up front would be nice, even Cole as a squad player if he takes a 60% paycut. Larsson? Doyle? Adams? Pratley? Not Gibson, please. And mo more African CF's though please. As for selling Gyan, I'd following Spurs example of asking silly money & say you can have him if you're willing to break the british transfer record. Speaking of Spurs, looks like Hutton might be available again at a realistic price, anyone fancy him back?
If Wigan go down wouldn't be suprised if Brucey puts a cheeky bid in for Figroll, we all know he likes the lad. Think it could all depend on who goes down, the likes of Wigan, Blackburn and West Ham have some decent players and if they go down wouldn't be suprised to see the likes of Parker, Cole, Upson, Samba, Pederson, Figueroa, Diame, N'Zog and Rodallega back in the prem. Would take Hutts over Onuoha
Hutton could be a possibility. Sign him to play RB, then move Ned inside to play cb. I think Ned at RB with Elmo in front of him works well. Plenty of pace between them. Spurs will probably want silly money for Hutton though, and they will know we have Bent money aswell as any further funds Short will be putting in.
The squad was blatantly too small, but Bent left you lot in the lurch. As for not wanting Berbatov, and his 20+ league goals ?!!! Must be joking he is class and scores goals unlike the mentioned donkeys like Doyle, Cole, Hulk, odallega--none of who have more than 15 league goals in a season in their careers to my knowledge. Whats the story on Gyan like? is he supposed to be going? I think hes quality but needs a striker alongside him to get the best out of him
